Waitpinga Farm offers 1- and 1.5-hour guided quad-bike tours around 400 acres (160 hectares) of historical farming land in South Australia. In a setting between two fishing and surfing beaches, Waitpinga and Parsons, you'll drive an ATV across the natural terrain, sandy tracks, and creeks of the property. Enjoy the fresh country air while experiencing a little adrenaline rush. Select a morning or afternoon tour time and duration when booking.
Owned and operated by the same family since 1856, Waitpinga Farm is mainly used for sheep and wool production and has a heritage-listed shearing shed. Its 400 acres are also excellent terrain for quad biking.
Start on the practice track to make sure you understand how to control your quad bike. Once you and your guide are confident with the group's progress, set out to explore the farm, enjoying the beautiful countryside landscape with views of the ocean and farm animals. You may also have possible sightings of other native animals. As you traverse grassy hills and plains and plunge across creeks, relish the wind in your hair and the thrill of operating your own ATV. Your guide is on hand to help you whenever possible.
No experience is necessary, and everyone is encouraged to give it a try.
Terry our guide was extremely patient and encouraging. The adventure tour was fantastic. Beautiful scenery and views, lots of history about the property with great tracks. We had a truly awesome experience. Would highly recommend it

With just the two of us on the tour, we were out the training session in no time. Then touring all over this beautiful fifth generation farm. Lang our guide was great giving us commentary each time we stopped to show us things of interest.
