Alice Springs, Australia

Join our one-hour camel tour during your stay in Alice Springs. Camel rides in Alice Springs are a great family-friendly activity. This gentle camel ride starts from the camel farm at Pyndan Camel Tracks located 20-minutes by road from Alice Springs. Once on the back of your camel, your experienced guide will lead you into White Gums Station following a flat clay track along an avenue of Iron Bark and Mulga trees before climbing a slight incline for sweeping views across the MacDonell Ranges– a great place for a photo on your camel. Along the way, spot kangaroos, wallabies, birds and other wildlife. This is a great experience for ages. Free transfers from outside your hotel's reception departs 30 minutes prior to tour.

Riding a camel against the backdrop of the beautiful Western MacDonnell Ranges is a signature Australian Red Centre experience. Choose from a morning, afternoon or sunset one-hour camel tour, for a gentle ride to the scenic Temple Bar Gap lookout that offers sweeping views across the desert landscape.

This was one of the best things we've done in Australia. We did a sunset camel tour and saw a lot of wallabies while out on the camels._br/_ The views of the red desert and mcdonnell ranges is jaw dropping. _br/_ The ranch has a hilarious talking parrot who says hello to you every time you walk past.

I forgot to review this one as well, apparently. But our sunset camel ride was a total blast -- definitely a memorable experience and one of the highlights of our stay in Alice Springs.

We did the sunset ride. Well worth it especially if you have kids with you. Do remember to take insect spray and enjoy yourself

The camel ride was so much fun. Steve was great and took pictures of us at the perfect point of the ride. Our sunset ride was beautiful as the setting sun hit the mountain. Enjoyed seeing the young camel and the t talking cockatoo. Would definitely recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed this camel ride in the Aussie Outback. The staff was very friendly as well which made for an excellent experience. I must say that I was nervous but the owner alleviated all anxieties with the camels.

Bus comes and picks you up from your accomodation. You are driven to the camel farm and one by one helped onto a camel. We travelled through the fields at sunset and enjoyed our ride. Possibly one thing that could be added is a cup of coffee/tea at the end of the night. I would definitely recommend doing the camel ride they are very well train and something different to do on your tour.

Great tour, informative and fun. Sunset was the best.

Let's just say our guide was civil - he talked more to the camels than he did to us except for the two girls riding the front camel. He gave no real information about the camels or the area. Having said that the camel ride was an awesome experience and the scenery was stark and vast and beautiful. Even though our guide wasn't the best we really did enjoy the experience.
