Start your ballooning adventure in the pre-dawn when the outback sky is alight with the brightest stars and the air is fresh and cool. Inflation of the balloon begins with the first faint glow of dawn in the east and we are aloft when the powerful rays of sunrise light up this ancient red land and its brooding sentinel, the MacDonnell Ranges.
Drift over this rugged landscape and appreciate its immensity, keeping an eye out for native wildlife including the iconic Red Kangaroo. After the flight enjoy refreshments including sparkling wine and fruit juice, which is served on the landing site. A superb way to see the Australian outback.
Balloon Chase Option If you would like to come and watch your friends/family take a hot air
balloon flight then a balloon chase is for you! Join
your group in the morning and you can see how the balloon flights work
such as checking the weather, setting up and inflating the balloon. You
will then stay on the ground after the balloons take off and travel
through the desert tracks with the ground crew to where the balloon lands. Once
you re-join your group, you can enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or
tropical fruit juice with the other passengers before
returning to your hotel.
