Embark from your hotel in Amalfi, Maiori, or Ravello and travel, via private Mercedes, to Caserta, located just inland from Naples. The Royal Palace of Caserta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the region’s most famous attraction, and is among the largest royal residences in the world. On this 4-hour tour, you’ll have ample time to wander its grounds and marvel at the majestic landmark.
This half-day, 4-hour tour begins with a 9am pickup at your hotel. Motor through the Italian countryside in a private, luxurious Mercedes. Your destination is Caserta, home to one of the most splendid royal landmarks in the country: the Royal Palace of Caserta, often considered the Italian answer to Versailles.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the palace was constructed in the 18th century, and is considered a masterpiece of late baroque architecture. You’ll have two hours to explore the palace independently (or with the optional add-on of a tour guide), from its opulent interiors to its sprawling, fountain-filled gardens.
Once you’ve had time to explore, return to your Mercedes (the car and driver will be at your disposal throughout the tour) and head back to your accommodation in Amalfi, Maiori, or Ravello. Groups of up to 15 people are welcome to book.
