Vibrant Salerno is one of the must-visits of the Amalfi Coast: a bustling city and cultural hub of southern Italy that directly abuts the Tyrrhenian Sea. Embark either in the morning or afternoon from your area accommodation, via luxurious Mercedes transport, and discover its many charms. This 4-hour, half-day adventure will leave you with plenty of free time to explore its landmarks.
Setting off at either 9am or 2pm, according to your preference, head off on a discovery tour of Salerno, the Amalfi Coast’s buzzing urban hub. Your private driver will pick you up directly from your Amalfi, Maiori, or Ravello accommodation, after which you’ll be transported via luxurious Mercedes to the city.
Upon arrival in Salerno, you’ll be able to discover the city at your leisure (though your car and driver will remain at your disposal throughout the tour). Previously an Etruscan and then a Roman settlement, today the city is a lively port town, with plenty to offer visitors. Begin at its centro storico — Old Town — where you can admire medieval buildings, the Salerno Cathedral, and wander its cobblestoned streets. A local guide is also available to hire for an optional, add-on fee.
At the end of your tour, return to your vehicle; your driver will drop you off directly at your accommodation. Groups of up to 15 are welcome to book.
