5 Nights 6 Days Private Jordan Magical Temptations Tour

Six day, five night tour that covers the must-see highlights of Jordan. Start your tour by visiting Madaba the "City of Mosaics", Mount Nebo, known as the tomb of Moses, and Kerak Crusader Castle which is considered one of the biggest castles in the Levant.  Explore Petra, which became one of the New Seven Wonders of the World on July 7, 2007.  Visit Wadi Rum where Matt Damon's movie the Martian was filmed, where you can enjoy a 4x4 ride by the local Bedouin Jeeps. Then off to visit one of the first natural spa in the world, the Dead Sea. Known as one of the saltiest or bodies of water, it is revered for its therapeutic benefits and offers a unique swimming experience. Head back to Amman for a panoramic tour of the city, and then continue to visit Jerash, one of the most complete and best preserved of the Roman Empire. The last visit in the tour is to Ajlun to visit the Islamic fortress of Saladin in 1185 A.D.

Day 1: Amman Airport to the hotel in Amman. Dinner and overnight in Amman hotel. (D) 40 KM

Day 2: Amman - Madaba – Mount Nebo – Kerak or shobak- Petra (B, D) 275 KM
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Madaba the "City of Mosaics" where you will visit the church of St. George which houses the map of the Holy Land made in 571 D. C. Continue to Mt. Nebo, known as the tomb of Moses, from whose summit a magnificent view of the Jordan Valley. Then transfer to Kerak or shobak to visit its Crusader Castle.  Continue to Petra. Dinner and overnight.

 Day 3: Petra (B, D) 10 KM
After breakfast, visit the Nabatean Red Rose City of Petra, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. A city carved in stone more than 2000 years ago to dominate the trade routes of ancient Arabia. First, you will walk the “siq”, a narrow path of 1.2 kilometers, which is the main entrance to the city. At the end of the “siq”, you will see the treasury "Khazneh" - which was believed to hold countless treasures. The first view of the "Khazneh" is breath-taking. Other monuments you will visit are the Theatre, the Byzantine Church, and the Royal Tombs. Back to Petra Hotel for dinner and overnight. 

Day 4: Petra – Wadi Rum - Dead Sea - Amman (B, D) 425 KM
After breakfast depart to Wadi Rum, called the valley of moon for a classic 2 hours visit of Wadi Rum in a 4x4 local jeeps. Then transfer to the Dead Sea which sits 400 meters below sea level; there is no living fish! It is by far one of Jordan's most impressive and spectacular places to visit. Its calm shining water glowing from its scorching sun known for the concentration of salt and minerals, which makes it a therapeutic as well as a unique swimming experience not to be missed! Free time at the Dead Sea Tourist Beach Rest house, transfer to Amman for dinner and overnight.   

Day 5: Amman Panoramic City Tour – Jerash – Ajlun - Amman (B, D) 140 KM
Pick up from hotel in Amman. Panoramic tour of the city, known as Philadelphia: a panoramic tour of the city center, downtown with its Roman Theater, traditional markets, churches, mosques, and the new modern city. Departure to Jerash, one of the most complete and best preserved of the Roman Empire. A walk through time visiting its streets, theaters, temples and other places like the Great Colonnade, the Arc of Triumph, the Oval Plaza, as well as the Temples of Zeus and Artemis. Proceed to Ajlun to visit the Islamic fortress of Saladin in 1185 A.D. Back to Amman Dinner and overnight.                                                             

Day 6: Breakfast and transfer to Amman Airport to coincide with the departure flight.  (B) 40 KM

Muy buen servicio. Jamail el conductor del vehiculo, muy amable y paciente. Habla arabe e ingles, entiende bien el espaňol. Mi estadia terminaba un dia despues de terminar el tour asi que fue muy amable en proponerme aprovechar el tiempo redistribuyendo el tour y yo no perder tantas horas. GRACIAS!

I made a great friend with the driver. I lost my glasses at Petra station and he went out of his way to find someone to retrieve and deliver back to Amman. He also took me out to dinner when I didn and #39;t feel like dining at the hotel. It was trunforgettable thanks to the Jordanian hospitality I enjoyed.
