This is a 12-hour day trip to Petra for those who have a limited time to stay in Jordan. You will have approximately 6 hours to visit Siq, Petra Treasury, and move on to the Royal Palaces and City center, with a possibility of visiting the Monastery or Area of Sacrifice (self-guided). You may choose the transportation only, guided tour, or the inclusive option (The tour guide is included for two hours only. You may spend the remaining time on your own.)

Enjoy this Petra full day private tour from your Amman hotel or the Queen Alia International airport. Transportation to Petra is arranged in a modern sedan. You will be picked up at either 7 am or 8 am, and depart from Amman via the desert high way to Petra. Pass by the marvelous Siq that continues to the Treasury.

Afterwards, go towards the Theater and later to The Royal Palaces. It would be possible to visit the Monastery (self-guided). The Monastery is beautifully carved, though much less decorated than the Treasury, and so huge that even the doorway is several stories tall.

One of the most interesting sites that you may visit is the Place of Sacrifice (self-guided). There, you can walk between the hills passing the 1050 stairs to reach that site. In the afternoon head back to Amman where your driver will drop you off at your Amman accommodation.
