You will be pick up from your hotel in Amman to start this tour by visiting Um Rasas, an archeological site in Jordan which contains ruins from the Roman, Byzantine, and early Muslim civilizations. The majority of the site has not been excavated. Among the portions excavated so far include a military camp and several churches. For its unique blend of civilizations, Um Rasas was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.
Proceed to the city of Madaba known for its mosaics. The most popular and well known is the ancient mosaic map of Jordan and the Holy Land of the 6th century in the Saint George Orthodox Church, marked with the points of interest of some historical stories recorded in the Bible. Visit the Archeological Park of Madaba, an impressive mosaic treasure. Then climb up Mount Nebo where Prophet Moses is said to have died. This really was a half day tour. There was no guide from r st George church and one found last minute for me nebo_br/_ Places were amazing nevertheless
