How beautiful !!! We did the Canal cruise first then went to the Museum. The Viator tickets and personnel were quite lovely to work with. The Canal trip was on a beautiful, sunny, warm day. Then to get to the Museum, the folks called a transfer for us and made sure that we were picked up and taken to the Museum in a very timely manner._br/_ Again, great tour and arrangements with Viator.

First thing is that this cruise isn't located where all the other cruises sit so if you take the train into the central station you have to walk quite a distance to get to these boats. It is across the street from the Heiniken Beer factory. Second, the audio part of the tour is rather lacking. It repeats itself often and doesn't follow along with where you actually are on the tour. It also constantly tells you to tip the captain of the boat. The captain never said anything and wasn't the friendliest sort. Not sure why I would tip him. It had rained earlier that day and thus the top windows were covered with water and it made it very difficult to see anything out of them. They could have cleaned them off beforehand rather than stand around and bs. Then we were told to be there at least 15 minutes before departure time and we were as were the few others going but then the boat didn't leave until 10 minutes AFTER the departure time. Don't appreciate standing around doing nothing while waiting. I guess I should have figured out it wouldn't be all that good being the cheapest of the cruises. The Maritime Museum was pretty good though so the combo ticket was worth the price because of that. Only problem with that is that the museum is back where all the other cruise are near the central station and so you have to walk all the way back again to visit it. Should have been noted in the description for this tour.

Well worth booking this tour. It was lovely to see all this sights of Amsterdam and then to finish at the Maritime Museum.
