This by far was the best Coffee Shop tour I have taken. I have done this with two other companies and it paled in comparison. The guides were very knowledgeable about Amsterdam, and coffee shop culture. I paid extra for the extended tour. It was well worth it as I learned a great deal about the history of Amsterdam and the Dutch people.

A very weird experience, guide took us to a bar and had everyone go around a circle and talk about their experiences with weed, what is this an aa meeting??_br/_ I only went to one coffee shop with the group before I left because it was quite an awkward tour.

We booked the 3 hour tour at a cost of 36.01 for two. The voucher we received stated This option includes a third coffeeshop, the illustrious Bloemen Markt or Tulip market in Amsterdam, Dutch Veal Croquettes and the famous Reguliersdwaarstraat party street. _br/_ So we expected to be taken into 3 coffee shops and get some food. What you ACTUALLY get is a visit to a cheap bar buy your own drinks then ONE coffee shop buy your own stuff. Then you get a chance to stand outside two other coffee shops. You can go in if you want although it wasn't explained that these were two of the three we were supposed to visit. Remember we paid EXTRA to stand outside one of them on the 3 hour tour. At one point we were even taken into a cheese shop! Then we were just told that this was the end of the tour, goodbye. _br/_ The guide was very nice and gave us a few interesting facts as we walked the city so one star but overall it was a complete waste of money. I don't normally post negative reviews but in this case the description of the tour didn't match what we actually received. When I complained I was told that the food place had suffered a fire to be fair at least I had a reply. But the provider won't offer the partial refund I requested because I booked through TA/Viator. _br/_ So please be aware you will visit ONE coffee shop on both the two hour and three hour tours. As for the food who knows?

AMAZING! Great and funny tour guide that knew so much information. Loved the tour. We went to a bar for a quick drink and yummy treat, then headed to a coffeeshop. The tour guide is helpful and rolls your joint for you if you are inexperienced :P_br/_ This was just an overall fun tour. Loved it!

This was my husband and is second trip to Amsterdam and have taken a similar tour before. This tour was better than the previous and exceeded all of our expectations. Great tour guide, super informative of all aspects on the culture and history of Amsterdam. Would highly recommend!

This was such a fun tour! It was also a great way to learn about the better coffeeshops from people who live in the area, while learning about Amsterdam’s history along the way. As a solo traveler, this tour was an excellent way for me to make some friends and have some fun! :)

We hebben een tour van 3 uur geboekt er waren super verrast door onze aangename gids. Hij was zeer vriendelijk en vooral over alles van Amsterdam heel goed op de hoogte. Zeker aanrader om te doen in groep of om aan te sluiten bij een andere groep.

This was a great tour and our guide was very friendly, enthusiastic and fun! We had a great job learning about the culture, trying a new beer at a stop we had along the way and seeing some of the area as it was our first day in Amsterdam.

Brilliant tour - Caleb our guide was really fun, and made the tour interesting and funny. _br/_ We got the chance to try some weed, which we didn't realise we would be able to do - and it was under his guidance which was really helpful as it's not something we would have had the courage to do otherwise. _br/_ He also showed us the wonderful secret garden which was set up for the older ladies of the area - that was beautiful. _br/_ There wasn't much strenuous walking. the only part I would have said could be improved, was the local food sampling was literally some Bittenballs which we shared 8 between us - but that was it - so it wasn't really what we would have considered 'food sampling' - more just a snack, and it was in the first hour. _br/_ We had the 3 hour tour, which also included the red light district, which we had already visited, but this gave us some more local knowledge, so worth the extra couple of quid.

This tour was not at all what we expected. Our guide was not knowledgeable about anything he was supposed to be telling us about. He kept a PowerPoint open on his phone and would read off of it when we got to certain locations. We took the 3-hour tour and had NO FOOD SAMPLING of any kind. We went to only one coffee shop. He pointed to a few others as we were passing them. He tried to talk us out of going to the red light district, but we all insisted. We walked very quickly down one street, and he didn't really say anything. He seemed almost frightened to be on the street. We were extremely let down by this tour. It is nothing like it should have been by its description. I'm upset that we wasted that much of our day. Several people left our group half way into the tour because it was so worthless.

Our tour guide was Andreas. There were only four in our group. The tour was supposed to visit to several coffee shops and provide snacks. We went to a bar and had coffee which we had to pay for. We then went to one coffee shop. The rest of the tour was walking through the local area. We had a decent time. Our guide was nice and informative. But, the advertised itinerary and lack of local snacks made it seem more like a supervised walk through Amsterdam.

I would highly recommend doing this tour if you are planning on venturing to a coffee shop during your visit. The guide was very knowledgeable about Amsterdam in general, but was excellent at helping out in the shops and guiding you on what to buy/try and how much to use.

Awesome tour, our guy was a sweet lady and very knowledgeable of the coffeshop culture and local culture. We started at a pup were we had the chance of trying local beer, plus got a little bit of history of the coffeeshop, smoking laws in Amsterdam, and explanation on different types of weed and explanations of what we were going to do. We then went to a coffeshop were we tried the product. We toured the city, she took us through small streets were only ladies live, through churches, cool installation in a museum, and other coffee shops. We passed through the red light district and got a bit of explanation about the girls and the window. Awesome tour and a wonderful introduction to the cannabis word for beginners!

What a great tour we had and we did the Extended version..the extra hour. Our guide Sam was so cool and knew his stuff and his cafe's. Of course you can visit these on your own, but we had limited time there just 3 days and to get the inside scoop on the best bang for your buck per say was very nice. Also learned so much more than just about the Cafe's and what they offer...he really informed us about a lot of the culture in Amsterdam. Would highly recommend to anyone!

This tour was amazing! Muha was our tour guide and he had ALOT of knowledge on the subject. He also sprinkled in culture to show you that Amsterdam is much more than just drugs and sex. I hope you and #39;re able to take the tour with him or Polly, both were super sweet!

The Tour included Snacks, we were never offered any. The group didn't want to sit in any of the coffee shops so we couldn't spend time in any coffee shop. One by one people left the tour in the middle itself. At the end, only we were left and then the guide left us saying he can't do much as people were not interested.

When we are away we always book tours. But they never have been as FABULOUS as this one. The guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Provided us with lots of info and we had loads of fun. A must do when in A and #39;dam. Ps we also booked a red light tour with oranje umbrella. Don and #39;t miss that either!

This tour was very good! I wouldn and #39;t recommend doing the optional 3rd hour.. The guide wasn and #39;t really sure what to do with that last hour so went off track a fair bit.. _br/_ The first 2 hours were great though!

we had a really fun tour with enrique. there was NO food sampling, so that should not be part of the description. also your guides should get more support - there were confused tourists who hadn't gotten a confirmation of their tour, and who needed a german speaking tour guide.

This tour was great! the tour guide was very knowledgable when it came to explaining the coffee shop culture and other aspects of the history of Amsterdam and did so in a way that made it fun. If you're worried about safety don't be, I felt safe the entire time and the guide got to know everyone on the tour which helped put everyone at ease as well as brought the whole group closer together. This tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Amsterdam and I highly suggest doing it!

So this tour was a lot of fun. Found the meeting location at H and M easily and was welcomed by a friendly guide. There was a group of people , almost 18 I think from different countries around the world. Not all about smoking, had some cultural lessons, this is good for beginners and experts. Fun tour!
