This 2-hour small-group Segway sightseeing tour with a maximum of 9 people will show you the best of Amsterdam's city center on two wheels. Glide effortlessly through the historic streets of Amsterdam, along the city's canals and over its many canal bridges. Segway is the first of it’s kind — a self-balancing personal transport device that is a lot of fun!
Your tour will start slowly by gliding along lake IJ's river bank while enjoying Amsterdam's beautiful waterfront. Next, you will be scooting past the 17th century building of Amsterdam's Maritime Museum towards Artis, the oldest zoo in the Netherlands, past Amsterdam Botanical Gardens and the Hermitage Museum.
An excellent photo opportunity awaits you next when crossing the Amstel river on your Segway taking one of the most famous bridges in Amsterdam, the Skinny Bridge. The tour now enters Amsterdam's canal district with its typical Dutch canal houses. After a brief stop on Rembrandt Square, the route goes towards one of the most famous plazas in Amsterdam, its Dam Square -- another great photo opportunity. Leaving Dam Square the tour will make one final stop on Nieuwmarkt Square before returning to the starting point.

I love to segway. It is difficult in Amsterdam due to th bike riders hating them. The roads are so narrow. I still loved it.

We enjoyed seeing parts of Amsterdam we'd never seen before due to having wheels to get around quicker, but we really didn't learn anything we didn't already know. The guys are enjoyable to be around, and if you really just want to see the city without having to peddle a bike, I'd suggest this as a way to do it.

I'm giving this 4 stars purely for the joy of riding a Segway and getting brilliant views of the canals and streets of Amsterdam. This is a great city to ride around in. However, we did have a relatively new guide and unfortunately he was not confident about providing commentary detail and volume. So not much was added there. However it is still a great experience and I recommend it as a terrific way to get a walk-free view of a beautiful city.

This was a good tour with one disappointment - no audio contact with the tour guide. _br/_ This is the first Segway tour we have taken in several countries that did not have this audio link. It meant silence until you stopped and sights were discussed and most informative this was. But having been used to an audio link on my other Segway tours I found it strange to not have a running commentary on places we were passing._br/_ This was a cold day about 5C and the wind had an added chill factor but the tour was enjoyable. A concern for a couple of people on the tour was discovering that they would be using both cycleways and roads but this was soon put to rest as safety was a paramount concern to the tour guide._br/_ The two hour tour gave you a good idea of where everything was, how best to access those areas you were interested in visiting. The lack of audio is the only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5.

Great tour! Make sure to tell your guide what you want to see. He might ask for suggestions. You will see much of Amsterdam on this tour. Using the Segway is easy once you get the quick lesson.

This tour is well worth the cost. We had a great time. If you go during cooler weather just make sure you have gloves and dress warm. Our tour guides were awesome and very patient.

Wow. This was the highlight of our 4 day stay. Informative. A good chance to get your bearings. And riding segways made us smile for 2 whole hours. The cycle lanes make it easy to feel safe. As a 40 year old who does a very small amount of exercise, I thought handling the segway was fairly easy after 5 minutes.

We had a great time with this tour. It was great fun, however the guides need to pay a little more attention to the safety of the group, we had two accidents and only one was caught by the guide. Unfortunately, when we were on tour the guide was dominated by one attendee and then did not pass the information on to the group of the history of the city. We did have a great time seeing Amsterdam, and would certainly go again. Especially now that I have some Segway experience

Guides were flexible and adjusted the route to places we wanted to see, which was great. However, the "script" needs work. Lots of history and description of the mechanics of reclaiming land, laying out the city, maintaining water elevation, info about town events was not included.
