Heineken Experience (day) Located in one of the most impressive industrial heritage sites in Amsterdam, the Heineken Experience takes you through the history and traditions of Holland’s iconic beer. The original Heineken brewery from 1867 until 1988, the Heineken Experience today is more than a museum – it’s an interactive venue where you'll learn the extraordinary story behind this remarkable, world-famous brand. Two beers are included with entry.
You are free to visit the Heineken Experience whenever you want during the day – it opens at 11am and last entry is at 5:30pm (Monday to Thursday) and 6:30pm (Friday to Sunday). Make sure to give yourself any time you need between this attraction and your canal cruise, which begins at 7pm.

Both experiences were lots of Fun._br/_ We loved the Heineken Experience...very interactive. Our struggle was in accessing the vouchers. You need to make it easier for the tourist. We shouldn’t have to travel to 3 different places to get our actual vouchers. We should be able to print off internet and go like other tours. I would have given you 5 Stars otherwise.

Fabulous Experience! Highly entertaining and interesting! I learned a lot about the brand. I especially loved the super cold Heineken at the end of our tour and it was cool to have a bottle of Heineken engraved with our names-great souvenir! _br/_ Pizza cruise was amazing. This was a great tour. We loved the Heineken Experience which involved a great tour of the brewery and was very informative. There were guides in each of the areas to explain the brewing process. We loved seeing the horses who pull the big beer wagon and of course the beers and the view from the top was excellent. We also purchased a barbeque lunch at the top. All of the staff were very friendly. We also enjoyed our canal pizza cruise which was very well organized with delicious pizzas and unlimited wine and beer. A great way to see the city in the late afternoon. A definite recommendation from us and we would do it again.

The heineken experience was great, the capt and the crew of the canal cruise were also great. The food was not good at all and the issues with getting our passes was a mess. We got the run around from the company on which building to get our ticket for each event. They didn't make it easy and it was very stressful to deal with especially being during our vacation.

This super saver tour was great! The canal cruise covered many sights not covered by a land tour. The Heineken Experience was different than just a brewery tour. Many different hands on displays to try brewery tour informative good for all ages allow at least 3 or 4 hours to experience it all. The three beer samples only for adults were large. The pizza, chicken wings, wine/beer dinner was very good pizza, etc, ordered per your choice and picked up along the canal wine and beer plentiful Captain and Crew friendly and very attentive.. Well worth the price!

It is a brewery tour but you do not have a tour guide. I've seen many breweries, so this wasn't amazing but it was nice. The virtual ride was cute and the beer was the best Heineken I've ever had - I'm not a true fan but the beer here was great! The area to drink your beer is nice, you can step outside and enjoy the scenery/views. The pizza cruise was nice aside from we happened to have a ride with obnoxiously loud children and their parents on the ride. You can't pick who you ride with though. The pizza was average but the drinks unlimited making it nice. The canal ride was fun, if only I could have heard the tour guide but with the folks we had on the boat, it was nearly impossible.

This tour does not have be done in the same day. You pick up your vouchers and you can go to the Heineken Experience any time or day you like, which is great and fun. My daughter and I enjoyed going through the basically self-guided tour of the original Heineken Brewery. There are cool, free games to play, and a bar/rest area with a free brew. All kinds of nice Heineken items to buy at the end of the tour._br/_ On the other hand, the Canals Pizza Cruise was boring. They took us traveling on a nice cruise boat through the canals without any explanation of what you were looking at and where you were. We stopped to pick up some very average pizza to eat with our fine drinks and cup of prepacked Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. I could've done without this style of cruise but I'm a sucker for boat rides.

We loved the Heineken experience. We could have drank a few more beer but otherwise it was fine. The Canal Cruise it self was as advertised and enjoyable. The only problem was the voucher said the cruise left at 7:00 PM. We showed up at 6:20 and found out there were two cruises , one at 6:00 PM and one at 8:00 PM. We missed the first one and were almost two hours early for the second. Luckily, the second was not full. The lesson learned was always check with the vendor in regards to time and location.

The Heineken Experience was great, you get 2 beers at the end with your ticket/bracelet. Many interactive things to do. I suggest you get to the experience early as when I left around 1pm, the lineup was quite long. The Canals Pizza cruise was also good, you see all the sights from a canal view. Servers were very attentative and your drink never went emptyunlimited soda, beer, and wine. There was no bathroom on board so make sure you go before you board.

Loved the Pizza Cruise and the Heineken Experience! But please pay attention to a few details here: the tickets for both these activities are picked up about a 5 minute walk from the Heineken Factory and then the cruise departs from a dock across from the train station, about a 40 minute walk from the Heineken Factory. And the two tours are not actually connected together which my group and I did not realize. So we ended up doing the Pizza Cruise on Monday evening because it left at 6pm from the dock. The cruise was incredibly enjoyable with unlimited drinks and dinner. There is very little commentary, however, so do not use this cruise as a means of learning detailed information about the city. The guides did point out the highlights such as the Anne Frank House. It was a very nice way to have a meal with friends and chat while slowly drifting through the canals. The pizza was very good. My group and I did the Heineken Factory on Tuesday afternoon. There is no formal tour of the factory rather you travel through the factory at your own pace, reading, watching and participating in interactive games. It was very unique and we had a lot of fun. I would plan for at least 2 hours to leisurely go through the factory and enjoy 2 complimentary beers at the end. We had a great time and I definitely recommend buying this package but please understand that they are separate activities and that you need to be aware of the times for each!

The Heineken experience is definitely one not to miss. I was pleasantly surprised at all of the different interactive things they had available, it was a lot of fun and you could spend a lot of time in there if you wanted. The 2 beers at the end were pretty nice too! I would HIGHLY recommend the Pizza cruise! The food and drinks were delicious, the service was excellent, the waitresses even turned into knowledgeable tour guides with all kinds of great information. It was a perfect route where you got to see a lot of different sights. It was nice getting off of your feet, sitting back, relaxing with a drink and taking it all in from the canal level!!

Great experience ..... A little trouble exchanging our voucher for actual tickets. Heineken could not scan our Viator coupon. Heaps to do at Heineken brewery very hands on and the place was jumping. Loved the cruise also. Getting directions as to where to board the boat was a bit of a run around but we got there eventually. Great pizzas and icecream. Lovely crew on board the pizza cruise boat..

We easily spent a couple of hours at the Heineken factory. Whilst beer is no longer produced here we were able to see all the traditional workings of beer production and learnt about the ingredients and process involved. We also discovered the history of the family members and their contributions to the industry and society in general. There were videos, personal talks and interactive modules. Some were informative and others were purely for fun. We were able to see the horses in their stables, having just returned from one of their twice daily promotional walks. We were taught how to pour beer correctly and also how to drink it properly. _br/_ There was a total of three beers included in the entrance fee -one for the learning and two for enjoyment. We enjoyed ours up on the sky deck with a burger. Plenty of merchandise was available to purchase and we even ordered a personalised bottle with our names and the year on it. _br/_ This cruise is available at a different times and turned out to be 6pm not 7pm that we had booked. Fortunately we found out about the change the day before so we didn't miss our cruise. The pier was centrally located near the main train station and order for choices of pizza and dessert took place before embarking. The cruise wasn't full so couples could have their own tables, as could families or groups. _br/_ The captain and two crew members were friendly and professional and we were served drinks and food as they were required. We spent 90 mins cruising through various canals and passed many barges along the way, as well as a floating restaurant. The pizza stop was well timed and pizzas were nice and hot. Unlimited drinks were provided and Ben and Jerry's desserts were delicious. _br/_ A very fun and relaxing experience that we combined with the Heineken Experience for a discounted price.

The cruise itself was a lot of fun but the paperwork with the voucher said it was at 7:00 PM. It was actually at 6:00 PM so when we went to check in at 6:15 we had already missed it. They put us on the 8:00 PM cruse but we had to wait around an extra 2 hours.

The Heineken experience was really different from any other brewery we have toured. Being so interactive made it a lot of fun, especially when they brewed us. The pizza cruise was also a lot of fun, the only issue was it would have been nice if the pizza was warmer. The crew on board our boat were great. Would highly recommend, especially purchasing your tickets early.
