The walking tour was OK, but not terribly interesting, and the guide was mediocre. The Optional Canal Cruise wasn't available when we booked.

Tour was good. We took the tour because it was supposed to be in Spanish, but was a mixed tour. So, first the guide gave all explanations in English and after finishing will start in Spanish, so expending so much time in each stop, wasting time for both English speakers and Spanish speakers.

Great tour of the sights of amsterdam. The information given to us from our guide (Garan) was fantastic.

The tour itself is great, but our guide Andy was 45 minutes late we were told due to traffic but the timing of giving us that information suggests a less palatable reason and the tour that I booked in English was given in both English and Spanish. Not fun paying for a tour that requires you to wait while each point of interest is explained a second time in another language before you can move on. I'd recommend looking for a company that doesn't combine languages on the same tour. The highlights of the tour as advertised are well-worth seeing, and but for the significant late start that cost us an hour and a half when you consider the time you're told to arrive, Andy was informative and entertaining.

Great way to get oriented to the city. Our guide told us lots of interesting stories, and took us to an amazing cheese shop!

Beautiful and informative. Although we got rained on, it is still a great place to walk!

This is a briskly paced little tour that provides some interesting insight into neighborhoods in Amsterdam that we might not have seen on our own. The guide was energetic and professional but once again she had to navigate so many languages that often we were in a gap of time. Great tour to get to know some new areas.

We have taken many tours from Viator and have been very pleased. We actually booked 4 tours from Viator on this past 2 week vacation. This tour was very disappointing in the fact that the tour guide had to repeat the information in English, Spanish, and Dutch. By the time he completed all of that information, we had lost interest. We have been on tours that have had 2 languages, but 3 languages was just too much. To make matters worse, it was pouring rain that day, so standing in the rain while the guide had to repeat in all of the languages was ridiculous. We ended up leaving the tour a little bit early because we were miserable. We were extremely disappointed that the tour office did not separate the languages. It's not fair to have people standing for 15 minutes in one spot just to listen to the tour being repeated in other languages. I would not recommend this tour to others.

The tour was done in both English and Spanish so it took twice as long while the Spanish speakers waited on the English narration and same for English speakers waiting on the Spanish narration to complete. I would recommend this tour if it was done in one language - it just took too long so we left the tour early on our own.

Was an OK tour. They just walk around highlights of the city and not really inside the many attractions. Separate tickets for those. We stopped for local gin.

My husband had to delay his departure day at the last minute, so I went ahead and kept our tour and cruise bookings anyway. I'm so glad that I did - I met interesting fellow tourists and got a great lay of the land on my first day in town. By the time my husband arrived, I was able to show him around like I had lived there! The land area and history covered by this tour are vast but our guide kept it very interesting. I'd definitely recommend this to any Amsterdam first-timers.

This tour was great. The guide had aweome knowledge was higly skilled at what he did. Definately the best way to get an understanding of the city._br/_
The only down side was that the cruise was too packed - but you can choose when you want to use it so I would recommend you wait for a less busy time of day.

This was a great intro to the city when we arrived. It helped us to get our bearings straight for our three day stay in Amsterdam. It was long, because the speaker gave the info in both English and Spanish. We never were offered the optional canal cruise, so don't understand what that was about.

I have done throughout the Europe the Free Sandemans New Europe walking tours and those were much more fun! We had a guy that was his first time as a guide. Not very good English, athough we can tell he knew a lot about history. This tour is VERY much concentrated in history. It is not about fun facts and showing off the city. We didnt even go to the I amsterdam Sign, which is the postal card of the city. I expected more for the high price they charge. As an advise: always go for free walking tours!

This was disappointing, as it was listed for a Thursday on Viator, but apparently in error. They offered to put us on another day, which didn't suit us. And a credit wasn't possible, we were told. So we took the equivalent value in other attractions. I think a credit should have been made, or at least something extra for the inconvenience of missing out.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. We were a group of 6 and all felt that the tour would have been more complete if instead of snacks we had the ability to sample more food. We expected more of a walking food tour. We did not do the canal cruise that day but did it separately the following day and also found that worthwhile.

This tour was great. Our guide Steve was very knowledgeable . He made the tour very interesting and fun. He tried to get my daughter to eat the herring without much success. He answered questions and gave us great insight into the history of Amsterdam.
