Very nice tour and the walking wasn't so bad on you or your body. Majority of the stuff was in the same area and the tour guide did a great job allowing us to see the major point and giving background on everything. I enjoyed the tour a great deal and made for some nice photos along the way! A lot of fun it was.

Loved this tour with Rebecca. While she wasnt a native from Amsterdam she certainly did her homework and provided a solid history of Amsterdam. Many historic sights were pointed out and we got a feel of the city on our first day there. We used our new found information for the rest of our time in Amsterdam. Cant wait to return n the future.

The tour was terrific. Arthur was knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. Viator is not up to date on a few things though the tour operator has asked them to update their website info. For example the start/end spots for the tour are not correct. That did not detract from an entertaining tour!

Tyler was an amazing tour guide---Greeted you with a handshake and was warm and friendly, proud of the city and also extremely knowledgeable about the history of Amsterdam as well as sharing about popular/social culture. This tour was the perfect introduction to Amsterdam. The group sizes are small, allowing for the group to easily move around the busy streets of Amsterdam. our guide was Tyler and he was awesome. He was passionate about everything Dutch and the history, and he had a great sense of humour. The day of our tour was unusually cool, extremely windy and a bit rainy, so that made it a bit of a challenge. But Tyler tried to keep us out of the rain and wind where possible. If you have a layover between flights in Amsterdam, this is a great way to adjust to the change in timezones from North Amerca.

The guide was very good. The tour very informative with lots of anecdotes and historical facts thrown in. My only criticism is that the place to meet was wrong. We were supposed to meet at a building with some statues in front but that place did not exist. My husband wandered around the area until he found some other people waiting for the tour.

This was a comprehensive four hour walking tour of central Amsterdam. The group only had seven people so there was plenty of opportunity for asking questions of the guide, and for making some custom adjustments in the route to accommodate individual interests. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of life in the city -- history, architecture, local customs, food and drink, shopping, etc. Many suggestions were offered for further exploration. We also enjoyed a mid-tour stop for refreshments at our own expense , and bathroom. A wonderful introduction and overview of the city.

Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate for our tour....lots of rain. Agnes is a wonderful guide, very outgoing, full of information, pleasant and friendly. She showed us as much as she could and we decided to stop for some hot chocolate and try to wait out the rain. She offered to keep going but let it up to us to decide. We ended our tour about an hour early. Very happy with what we did see and would recommend it to others.

I was very disappointed to have a young French girl who had only been in the country a couple of months giving me a tour of Amsterdam. Every other country I've been to has had locals giving walking tours. She was nice, but I really felt that I would have learned more from a local. I enjoyed the walking tour. The tour guide had a lot of personality and energy. It would have been helpful if he would have provided maps to the participants on the tour to understand where we were walking to. He pointed out many things that would have been helpful to return to later - for example, best ice cream shop, or best fries. I had to take pictures of nearby street signs and then find later on my own map. I think for my first visit to Amsterdam a more structured tour would have been more valuable for me.

A great way to learn how to navigate Amsterdam and learn about this beautiful city's history. Our guide Tyler was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and obviously loves this city. I was particularly impressed with the respect he showed at Anne Frank's house and when telling us other stories about the impact of WWII. We were able to see the main tourist attractions, but also spent a significant amount of time in the local neighborhoods to get a more in-depth perspective. At the end of the tour, Tyler made sure that we were all now comfortable navigating Amsterdam on our own and encouraged us to continue exploring. It was an amazing experience.

This was the worst tour ever and I have made a lot of them with viator . The guide was a French girl, who could not speak English very well. We could not understand a word. The tour was supposed to show us the red light district and she said that she would just show us where it was... waste of time

Our tour guide Terry was amazing. First of all, we took the tour during a unseasonably cold and rainy April day. My 11 year-old daughter were the only people to arrive to the tour and so we basically got a private tour of the old sections of the city with excellent explanations. He asked me if I wanted to hear the history of the red light district and he was very clean and proper about it. He had interesting stories and the tour went by quickly. Tour ends at the Anne Frank House Museum. It's a great way to get to know the city. I highly recommend it!
