A lovely way to see the city from a completely different perspective. Relaxing and dreamlike as we rolled through the morning mist.

Apparently the Van Gogh museum no longer works with Viator so we had to ask Blue Boat Company for a ticket to the museum and they were sold out for the day of the tour.

Terrible boats, quite boring, and complicated system of getting museum tickets.

Enjoyed the canal cruise although it was cold and raining. Had to open the window to take pictures. Saw some unusual things, like boats that had sunk up to the top edges and the motors were sunk also. Very strange. We enjoyed the museums very much. The one and most crucial thing I did not like about Amsterdam is the residents on bicycles who had no care whatsoever that you were there, or much less care if they ran you down. Very rude. You would think that with the tourist industry contributing to their community there would some respect. The streets are very hard to navigate, not only the cobblestones understood but trying to figure out where you are is very confusing. No plans to go back to Amsterdam ever.

This was a great excursion! We did have a little trouble with getting our Rijksmuseum tickets because the barcodes weren't working. _br/_ I had to buy our Rijksmuseum tickets but when we went to local office for the canal cruise they gave me a refund for our Rijksmuseum tickets with no trouble. The Van Gogh and the Rijksmuseum museums were great to see. The Canal Cruise was fun and interesting as well._br/_ I would recommend it

Voucher can be scanned in the Van Gogh museum but not in the Rijksmuseum. After our chosen 10:00 visit to Van Gogh we have walked to the other museum and after lot of checking and talking they told us that we need to exchange the voucher for a tickets in a Blue Boat Company canal cruise. Walked there and went for a cruise so we don't have to walk again after the museum visit. Rijksmuseum closed at 17:00 so at the end we never went in. We should have planned it better but in_br/_ this tour info it said that voucher will provide entrance...it did'nt.

amazing art and both museums were in close proximity to each other. Tour instructions were easy to follow.

Van Gogh museum is not to be missed. Understand that it is most geared to learning about the artist than anything else - some of his most famous works are found world wide. It is crowded with long lines. Suggest pre booking for earliest am time museum opening, start exhibit on top level and work downstairs- you will be moving chronologically backwards but unimpeded until the end.

The museums get a five! The canal cruise was meh. The audio was really a feeble attempt at cuteness. Two people had a dialogue about the various buildings. Cut it out. Just give us the straight dope about the buildings and the lives of the people who made Amsterdam. The Canal cruise should be your first stop after coming in to town...relaxing opportunity to get an overview. The Rijks and Van Gogh can not be missed. Both were very crowded and I would urge folks to do them early. We did both museums in one day and I would suggest not doing that. Van Gogh Museum is quite informative. Rijks is an amazing assortment of painters and the Night Watch will blow your mind.

After this Tour I decided I LOVE Amsterdam. The concept is very well planned and I liked being able to undertake the 3 activities at my own pace and time of my choosing. Obviously a canal cruise is a must as is the Van Gogh Museum - but the Rijksmuseum gets my vote for the best way to spend time in Amsterdam.

We really enjoyed our visit to the 2 museums, the canal cruise was great, this was my wife's first trip to Holland and she really enjoyed the whole Amsterdam experience, we'll be back!!

Tour was great! Canal ride was lovely. Good value for 2 museums plus a 175 min canal ride!

Quick and friendly ticket pick-up for the canal cruise and Van Gogh musuem (we got to choose times that suited us best for both) and a Rijksmusuem flexible day ticket. We had no queues on entry but did pay extra for the musuem audioguides as these were not included. Highly reccommended time saving deal!

The canal cruise was fantastic! Amsterdam is such a beautiful city and seeing it from the canals is a breathtaking experience. Unfortunately, the tickets for the museums were for specific times on specific days that didn't mess with my schedule.

Great museums, although you have to pick the exact time of visit for a Van Gogh museum when you exchange your voucher. Don't plan both museums on the same day if you really like art because they are just to big : the cruise is also great, specialy if the weather is nice. Enjoy!

The canal trip was fine but we were denied tickets to the Van Gogh museum because they had no more to provide to the tour company. When you pay for a tour that was to include the museum, I expect to be able to go in. Very disappointing. This tour should not be sold until this type of issue is resolved!

Exactly as described. Fun and easy to find. Be aware you need to pick the time of your Van Gogh Museum visit when you pick up your tickets.

Great value, that was definitely cheaper than buying these activities separately. The Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum are must visit places in Amsterdam. They were both very interesting, especially the Rijksmuseum. The canal cruise was pretty decent although .we were a bit disappointed with the pre-recorded audio tour, in spite the many languages options, it feels like a missed opportunity with not very interesting descriptions, repetitive comments and at times poorly synchronized and too many dead time that could have been used for more.

Very bad experience. I used this tour back in December 2016 and discovered what was called tickets we received for Van Gogh are no more than vouchers required to be exchanged with real entrance tickets at the museum gate._br/_ The line was too long and we have been told it takes two hours to exchange your voucher !! at -2 Degrees._br/_ We have called the outlet we had our vouchers from, and they confirmed the same and we need line up until we get out tickets_br/_ The tickets they advertise for in this tour can get you in only to the Rijk and the cruise._br/_ For different reasons including this bad one will never go to Amsterdam again.

Disappointing. Glad to get admission tickets to Rijks Museum sp? and Van Gogh latter still ended up in long line after getting tickets. Canal tour very disappointing. We were given headsets but audio did not work so spent an hour in dead silence, with lots of interesting sights that we had no idea what they were. Need to fix the sound! Felt ripped off.

Was very disappointed as I booked this for my daughter and her boyfriend as part of their Christmas present. She got to the Museum but was told that it was closing at 5 and would not have enough time to view it. I didn't realize when I booked it that the closing time was 5.00 as it doesn't state this anywhere in the documentation when booking it that it closes then. It just says that you can get the cruise every half hour in certain places. Disappointing as they were so looking forward to it and it seemed like an exceptionally good deal.

Great value, that was definitely cheaper than buying those 3 activities separately in town. The booth to claim the tickets themselves was easy to find and process was quick and straight forward when I arrived. The canal cruise was great with a pre-recorded description in the language of your choice sounds touristy but that was clear, concise and all it needed to be. The boat's captain was kind enough to have all the kids on board steer the ship for a little while when we got onto the wider part in the harbour. One toilet is available on board and it was clean. Windows were very clear so didn't interfere too much for pictures and there is an open air portion at back of the ship._br/_ Ticket to Rijksmuseum is given to you right away from the booth on the canal side while the one for Van Gogh museum is actually a voucher which you go exchange at the ticket office at the Van Gogh museum itself.

too much to do in one day. museum vouchers still required standing in a long line for actual tickets. cruise was interesting, but recorded tour was not very well done.

Review by:   wilcoxmh,    October 2016 Review: 5 star rating: Highly Recommended
The canal trip was delightful. The head sets allow you to listen to explanations in English, but they do not block noises from other passengers. The museum passes are good for days other than the day of the canal cruise. This is very helpful, as I do not believe you could do both museums and the cruise in one day. I was not aware that once you purchased this tour, you still had to make reservations to see the Van Gogh museum. This was not difficult, but could have been in the summer months. Both museums were outstanding.

The canal cruise was interesting and enjoyable. The headsets used allow you to hear an explanation of the sights in English. explanations somehwhat cheesey However, the head sets do not block the noise from other travelers. The purchase of the ticket to the Van Gogh museum does not state that after the purchase you must reserve a time and receive a valid ticket to the Van Gogh museum. Purchasing the cruise with both museums included is a good value for the money. The package allows you to visit museums on other days from when you took the cruise. This is extremely beneficial as I do not believe you could visit both museums and take the cruise in one day and feel like you saw what you wanted.

We thought the recorded part of the tour was pretty banal. but of course the trip is unique, so you hardly need a guide. More history would be more interesting for some.

All three activities in this package were on our list, so we saved a couple of dollars by buying the package. We enjoyed all three, but wished we had more time in the two museums -especially the Rijksmuseum. It's alot to cram into one day, so it would be nice if the package had the flexibility to spread the activity over two days.

Purchased these tickets thinking I would by pass long lines at the Van Gogh museum._br/_ Big mistake- my tickets only enabled me to get on a queue with about another 200 people also waiting for tickets. Consequently due to time restrictions was not able to utilise this portion of my tour._br/_ Would have purchased direct with museum on line had I known.

Great way to see some canals and the incredible Rijksmuseum. Only issue we had was that this was only a voucher for the Van Gogh museum, so we still had to wait in a long line to get the actual ticket.

Review by:   Jenny,    August 2016 Review: 4 star rating: Recommended
The audio on the canal cruise was a bit corny but not too bad. It would have been great if the cruise had gone a bit further out beyond the canals. I suggest that the vouchers ought to include a small, clear map of the canal booth where vouchers are exchanged. The information ought to be laid out from the perspective of visitors who may never have been to Amsterdam and who, like me, walked around in the rain, without wifi. The signage on the booth did not match the name of the tour provided as per the voucher. The Van Gogh Museum was excellent. Visitor facilities have been upgraded and so crowd management has been improved. The Rijksmuseum was very good.

Absolutely superb! The starting point was easy to find, began exactly on time, and was a pleasant informative and calm ride throughout the canals. It is great that the museum admissions are valid over a period of days and at all times when the museums are open. The Rijksmuseum, often crowded offers audio headsets for 5 Euros without a time limit for that day. Be sure to check it before leaving the rental desk, because not all of them have good sound quality.

A nice river cruise that takes you through the main architecture, cityscape and points of interest in Amsterdam, followed by tickets that allow you to visit the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum at your own leisure. Really enjoyed it. However, there is no guided tour inside the museums, in case anyone is thinking along those lines.

This is a convenient way to plan three events at once. The voucher fir the Rijkmuseum allows immediate entrance and voucher for the Van Gogh must be traded in for a ticket, but it took less than five minutes to do that right outside the Van Gogh museum. These two museums are next to each other.
