Step into spring in style with a 4-hour visit to the Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam. Travel from the Dutch capital to the famous Keukenhof Gardens in a luxury car and enjoy exploring at your own pace. Wander along tulip-lined paths and through forested glades to admire flowerbeds exploding in vibrant color. Marvel at more than seven million hyacinths, daffodils and anemones bursting into bloom. Visit in spring 2015 and admire vibrant flower displays inspired by Dutch painter, Vincent van Gogh.
Following a pickup from your Amsterdam hotel, hop into your private vehicle with your professional driver and head out of the city to the famous Keukenhof Gardens, around 40 minutes away. This independent experience lasts four hours, and you can choose to go at a time convenient for you — please specify at time of booking. Open in the spring months of March, April and May only — when the flowering bulbs burst forth and transform the forest landscape into a rainbow of vibrant colors — the Keukenhof Gardens are widely considered among most popular attractions in Holland. More than seven million hyacinths, daffodils, tulips, anemones and other bulbs are planted in advance to blossom under the spring sun, and the results are breathtaking. Wander through the Keukenhof Gardens at your leisure and marvel at their incredible natural beauty. With beds of colorful flowers stretching as far as the eye can see and the warm breeze carrying heady scents of hyacinths to your nose, it’s a nature lover’s paradise. Visitors to Keukenhof in 2015 can also enjoy a variety of displays inspired by the great Dutch painter, Vincent van Gogh, as the gardens join national celebrations marking the 125th year since his death. The highlight of the van Gogh-themed year at the Keukenhof Gardens is a spectacular flower mosaic of colorful tulips based on the artist’s famous self-portrait. After three hours exploring the parks and pavilions of the Keukenhof Gardens, hop back into your luxury vehicle for the journey back to your Amsterdam hotel, where your tour concludes. Please note: This tour is seasonal and runs March 20 to May 17.
Our tour guide was fantastic. We made small stops along the way and she was very informative regarding the gardens and surrounding areas. The gardens were absolutely gorgeous and worth the money and time spent there.

The driver was accommodating. Experiencing the Gardens was the main reason we made this trip. We were not disappointed.

Even my husband could not get enough of the gardens. He said it was the most amazing display of nature he had ever witnessed. My granddaughter took over 400 pictures. Wish we had planned another hour at least as we didn't make it through all the special displays. Our driver was excellent. An awesome morning!

Good and clean car. The lady driver who took us to many sites on the way before we reached keukenholf. Really enjoyed the trip. Recommended for other travelers to choose.

Nicely handled trip into Keukenhof stopped for good pictures. Timely drop off and pickup. A good choice for those who don't want to combat the crowds that arrive by busloads.

Sylvia was our driver and she and the tour was amazing

The transport and the lady that picked us up was very good. However, what was disappointing was that no map of Keukenhof Gardens was given to us and no recommendation of the best things to do/see within the garden in the time available. I would also have liked to have learnt more about the plants/planting/exporting of bulbs etc._br/_
I would still recommend this tour but for me, if it were improved as above, it would be excellent. Thank You. C Stevenson

GREAT GARDENS -- LACKLUSTER DRIVER/TOUR EXPERIENCE: Based on prior reviews for this very expensive experience, I was expecting to have a Mercedes or other passenger car with a informative guid. Instead a large 8-person passenger van arrived for my husband and me, and while the driver was polite he gave provided almost no information and barely talked at all. We greatly enjoyed the Keukenhof Gardens and I do recommend it but I would not book this company for this tour and recommend you book a private driver/tour guide with your hotel so you know what you are getting.

Keukenhoff gardens was very nice. The tulips ere spectacular, but it was very crowded. I thought our tour included a guide, but it was nothing more than a private car to the gardens and admission. Actually, you don't need a guide in the gardens and you can hire a taxi for a heck of a lot less money.

The SUV was lovely and driver was on time and cordial. But we received no dialog going or coming to our hotel. Because we had such limited time, we had to schedule private transport....but would have loved to hear some history and interesting facts to make our expensive excursion for 3 well worth it

The Keukenhof Gardens were amazing but I think we went a week too early as not all flowers in bloom. I do think though that we could have just taken a normal bus as our guide just dropped us off and left us to our own devices. She was not very helpful on trip out as most questions we asked her she didn't know the answers too. On the return journey though she was more helpful and took us past the Anne Frank house and pointed out other items of interest on the way. Very pleasant day.

Keukenhof was unimaginably spectacular, even though it was nearing the end of the season. Our driver was exceptionally pleasant and amusing, with a spanking new Mercedes to drive us out to the gardens. He asked if we were in a hurry, and when we said no, he took a delightful meandering route out and back so that we really had three tours in one.

This was a fantastic experience. Our driver was early and very accomodating, as well as very knowledgable and pleasant. He took a very scenic route to the gardens, and the return was a spectaclular drive along the Amstel River, and by the Rembrandt Wind Mill. The Keukenhof Garden was all it was advertised to be and more. The flowers and landscaping were beautiful, and the atmosphere serene. This trip was a highlight for all 4 of us.

Just the two of us so not cheap, the more people the cheaper the trip. After saying this we liked it a lot, the car dropped us off at the entrance, we had the use of the driver who was very good for 4 hours. We were picked up at the our hotel, and at our request he dropped us off in Amsterdam on our return at a point where we were going on another trip, not to mention as we had additional time left we had a city trip of Amsterdam in a chauffered car. Recommended.

On time, great driver and worked hard in a very busy time to give us what we had paid for- and to see the tulips at Keukenhof. Thanks to Hans. Julie Roberts and Family - Perth, Western Autralia

The garden is beautiful even at the end of their season and a wonderful place to visit. but the best part of our experience was our driver who was from that distract of ansterdam and gave us the most wonderful tour including a view of a working windmill. he was very informative and gave us quite a tour.

Don't take the bus--private transfer is the only way to go! Prompt & professional driver. Comfortable & spotless car. Five star service before we even got to the gardens! And the tulips were amazing!!!
