Interesting and informative trip. The garden was really pretty, and it was a joy to cycle through the tulips field.

Our tour was the last day the gardens were open, and the flowers were magnificent.

Loved this experience. However, would be better earlier in the season.

We were fortunate to be there when the flowers were in full bloom. The gardens are spectacular. The bus trip out and back was informative and pleasant. Time allowed at the Gardens was sufficient for us.

Excellent a beautiful day and amazing garden, with food venues.

I would rate 5 stars this tour, BUT... On the way back our tour guide just dropped us. We arrived to the meeting point right on the agreed time and waited just to see our bus passing by us. I run after bus to see our guide face turned to me and then she looked away. I was with 2 kids. I was in shock. We run to other buses and some other tour guide was generous enough to give us a ride back to Amsterdam. _br/_ The garden was overcrowded, but great. Chose your tour operator carefully.

Wonderful tour! Words cannot express how fantastic the displays were! A definite addition to any spring visit.

Keukenhofnin the spring is a dont-missexperience. This tour is a simple bus ride with commentary, then free time in the gardens. The only down side on the day we went were the crowds, which is not something that the tour operator can control.

Viator made getting to and from this amazing venue much easier than going it on your own.

An absolute must if you are in Amsterdam between March 15 and May 15th. Loved, loved, loved the Keukenhof Gardens. The men raved about it as much as the women! Do not miss out. Absolutely magnificent!!!

Absolutely amazing experience. It was easy to get there and then we had more than enough time to visit the gardens. A great day trip

May '17: The gardens were absolutely beautiful and full of vibrant colour! You pass by but don't stop at the actual tulip fields, but we just walked outside the gardens and stumbled upon the most beautiful field of red tulips. It was windy and got a bit chilly, but we loved watching the flowers dance

Gardens were magnificent. So much to see! If you want to see the fields of tulips you must go in April...they only last about 2 weeks._br/_ We went on May 21.... They were already gone. Very disappointed. We found out fro the guide on the bus hat we were too late._br/_ So, plan your trip accordingly. Gardens were huge with something blooming all the time. Three buildings with different types of displays._br/_ Excellent!

This is the second time we've done this tour and it just doesn't fail to disappoint! It is an amazing sight!! My only recommendation would be to go a touch earlier - perhaps the end of April when more flowers are in bloom. Believe me, plenty STILL blooming in May, but you could see signs of some beds being dismantled. In any event, go and see the tulips and sweet hyacinths whenever you can!

Keukenhof Gardens is worth the trip. You're like in flower heaven. Lots of indoor flower exhibits, too. We just wish we had more time than allowed. The place is so big that we didn't get a chance to see it all.

What a wonderful trip we had. The bus left Amsterdam promptly and the the bus was comfortable and clean. Keukenhof Gardens are spectacular. We had plenty of time to walk around all the sections, climb up into a windmill, visit a tulip museum, and have some refreshments. The gardens are divided into color themes of tulips and flowers with every kind of color and design imaginable. One section even had a calliope that played Cold Play. I highly recommend this great day trip.

A wonderful outing in beautifully landscaped gardens! Strap on a good pair of shoes for long walks, grab a bite to eat at the food stalls on the way and take amazing photos to remember a wonderful trip.

I went with my wife and we had a blast. The gardens are breathtaking and picture do not do it justice. This is a no frills tour of the gardens and I recommend it to those who are travelling with another person or a group. Because you are with a busload of people, the experience is not very personal, but again, this shouldn't be an issue if you're travelling with a group.

The gardens were beautiful. Just an amazing place and would highly recommend this tour. Our only problem, and it wasn't entirely the fault of the tour company, was that the buses were late picking us up at Keukenhof at the end of the tour. We had to stand out in the rain for about 45 minutes. We were told there was a traffic problem, so all the buses were late. But over all, this was a wonderful experience.

This was a no-brainer. You meet at a convenient location near Centraal in Amsterdam, and the comfortable bus takes you very close to the entrance of Keukenhof. On the trip out, there is narration in 4 languages that provides some helpful and interesting information. Once you enter the gardens, you travel on your own, which was ideal for us. You have over three hours to explore, and that's plenty of time although if you are a diehard, you may want to spend the whole day since we were not able to see everything in that amount of time. We were fortunate to be at the garden on a beautiful sunny day, and the late afternoon light was spectacular. The gardens in full bloom were UNBELIEVABLE you will never see any more beautiful tulips and other bulbs in bloom in one place. It was the highlight of our weeklong holiday in Amsterdam! At the conclusion of the visit, the bus was nearby and easy to find, and returned us to our original meeting place. Top notch experience and well worth the price!

This is a transportation and admission tour only. Although there is a guide on the bus, you are on your own once you enter the gardens.

This garden is nothing like I have seen before and I have seen many beautiful gardens! Since this is only open in April and May, it is even more special that we were there at the right time. It will take your breath away. And the transportation to the Gardens was easy to find and use.

Although getting on the bus was a little chaotic--lots of traffic in the loading area, the bus ride and tour were delightful. Lots of tulips! The volunteer at one of the stops showed my husband how to harvest seeds from the tulip. We also got to name a tulip and send a picture of us with that tulip to a relative. The bonus was a one-hour free cruise of the canals in Amsterdam. A wonderful time on our first full day in this walkable city.

Review by:   Elizabeth L,    May 2017 Review: 1 star rating: I do not recommend this
Let me just say that Keukenhof Gardens is a glorious place - everyone must see it - just don't go on a Viator Bus!! First of all, we were told to report to their office at Damrak 26 near the Amsterdam train station. The staff was totally disorganized, crowds of people were all confused and agitated. Although I had printed out what I thought were our tickets, we were told these were only vouchers, and we had to wait in a long and slow line to get these changed into tickets. There is no reason for this! The people on the bus should be able to scan my printed documents! Then, the bus was not even nearby - we had to follow a person and she first started leading us on a long walk across busy streets to get to the bus, and then suddenly we had to backtrack and go in a different direction because the bus had moved. This company is so disorganized!! Finally we got on the bus. The microphone system didn't work! So although part of the fee you pay is for a guided talk on the bus, that didn't happen! The tulip field part of the drive was a brief detour off the highway just to drive us by a couple of fields on narrow roads - the bus driver had trouble making a sharp turn and almost landed the entire bus, with us in it, in a roadside ditch! Luckily we survived. Then we arrived at the Gardens. As I said, this is not to be missed! This was our second visit to Keukenhof, and the first time we drove our own rental car out, and I would really recommend that - then you can get there, park and stay as long as you wish - all without the incompetent Viator company involved!! When we got back to the bus at the appointed time, the bus was locked! Finally the driver appeared and opened it up for us. The worst part now was that the microphone was fixed, and we had to listen to the so-called tour guide who basically read a canned talk in broken english - and it was such a bad talk about the whole tulip topic!! What a waste of our money to have to listen to this! Anyone can read a brief description in a guide book and learn more about Keukenhof and the the history of tulips in the Netherlands!! Don't waste your money on this bus trip to these magnificent gardens. There are public buses that are less costly and probably far less aggravating. Or, as I said earlier, rent a car. And, when we arrived back into Amsterdam, the bus had to drop us off in a place where buses must go, and they held us captive on the bus for 10 minutes until they could pull into a spot so we could get off. The bottom line of my review: Viator staff is too young and untrained and incompetent. We do not recommend you view the beautiful Netherlands with their so-called guidance - a waste of money and you'll have more fun and learn more doing it another way!

The tour is worth 5 stars. However,_br/_ When I called to change our 9am tour to 10am tour due to arrival delay of the cruise ship. The rep said 10am is full and put us on 11:45am. That was a lie._br/_ When we were at your office they had plenty of empty seat on 10am. To take that 10am tour, the rep charge us 10 euro extra per person. Not nice business practice.

The tour location was easy to find and the tour company were very efficient and helpful. The tour left on time and was well organized. Going to the gardens the guide provided interesting information about Amsterdam and The Netherlands and also pointed out places of interest on the way. The gardens were beautiful although a little busy. The time given to explore was just about right. We would definitely recommend a visit.

The garden is spectacular. And by joining a tour, you get direct transportation to the garden and avoid the long queue for tickets. We also got a free 1 hour canal cruise although we feel that the cruise was quite boring.

Visited just a few days before Easter and it is a truly beautiful place with every flower imaginable in full bloom. It was well worth the trip and the tour company give you plenty of time to explore the expansive gardens and an easy bus ride back into Amsterdam. Highly recommend the trip when in season.

The gardens at this time of the year 5 May are spectacular! The tour was as depicted, on time, and with a close in parking place for the bus. Once you see the size of the parking area, you will appreciate this. You are on your own for the three hours in the gardens, so take your time and enjoy. Picking up a garden map at the entrance will be a help.

Beware that your printed voucher is no guarantee of easy access to the bus tour. You have to fight the crowds at their office, to exchange the voucher for a ticket. Then wait for a group to assemble to walk to the bus where you fight to board.it is definitely not a pleasant process.

A wonderful trip. It was very cold, drab day but the flowers were beautiful. The guide on the coach had great knowledge. Definately worth the trip.

Review by:   Jin I,    May 2017 Review: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better
Think Disney, but more people in a smaller space trying to get the best garden pictures. The place was too crowded, and the best view of the tulip is actually from outside of the compound. The tour bus was over 45 minute late to pick up, but the return was the same as scheduled so we also felt cheated in the end compared to others who were on earlier or later tour. The guide in the bus was very knowledgable and we learned more from her than anything in the garden itself. Many flowers were beautiful, but if you only have a few days in Amsterdam, this garden is not worth it. We had more fun time going on the food tour downtown for basically the same price.

Was a very comfortable ride to Keukenhoff Gardens on the coach bus. Acres and acres of unbelievable beauty at the gardens, hard to see it all but given 4 hrs we were able to see most of the gardens! Definitely worth a trip to see!! Enjoyed it immensely

This was an amazing time with friends. _br/_ Very comfortable ride and easy access to the gardens. And a good time to share and relax in the beautiful surroundings. _br/_ There is a boat ride you should complete on arrival to avoid missing it later. And enjoy the food available all around the park .

This tour was great. The meeting spot was easy to find and we received a free 1 hour canal tour (which was pretty boring but it and #39;s always nice to give it a try). The tour guide spoke the entire way to keukenhof then walked us to the front gate and gave us three hours of free time to do as we pleased.

An excellent tour - clean modern coach with helpful tour guide and 3 hours free time at the gardens which were beautiful. The only thing I would say is it is incredibly busy. Arrive at least 30 mins prior to departure as, despite booking, you have to pick up tickets at the office.
