Amsterdam, Netherlands
Breeze past long lines of tourists and explore Amsterdam's famous Rijksmuseum without the usual crowds during this private 3-hour tour. Guided by a senior art historian, your private group will view the most famous works by Vermeer, Rembrandt, and other 17th-century artists.
After purchasing your entry to the Rijksmuseum, meet your professional art historian guide at a time of your choosing in the museum's central axis and breeze past the lines to begin your private 3-hour tour. Maximize your time inside the world-famous museum as you bypass the crowds with your early-access entry pass, and admire masterpieces by 17th-century artists like Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Hals while your personal guide explains the cultural and historical context of each piece of artwork. Take time to purchase a coffee and discuss the art with your guide halfway through the tour, and enjoy your VIP status as you soak in the atmosphere of the paintings and sculptures without the usual crowds for the second 90 minutes of your private tour.
What an amazing way to see this art collection! Through the eye of a true art historian and expert, exclusive access and knowledge, this was just fabulous!!

Great guide. Wish he had given us more information on the lives of Rembrandt and Vermeer instead of just talking about their works of art.

My 3 hour private VIP guided tour of the Rijksmuseum was the absolute highlight of my time in Europe. Kees, the guide, is an art historian who is a fount of knowledge about the Dutch Golden Age, of course, but also about particular paintings, the way they came to be, lives of the painters and their families and modern research. He made the time vivid and alive. Cant recommend highly enough!

The tour guide was well informed, articulate, organized, interesting, and fun. Highly recommend.

The tour with Kees was amazing, we have been the first in the museum and we had some 20-25 minutes to be nearly alone in the hall of fame - if nothing else, this was to money worth. But it was just an add-on. To spend 3 hours in the Rijksmuseum with Kees was something extraordinary. He showed us all the important Dutch masters, spent time explaining the most important paintings, on the other hand he also showed us other interesting items from the collection of Rijksmuseum, telling us the stories you would not find in any guides..._br/_ If I would go once more to Rijksmuseum, I would definitely go with Kees again.
