Skip the Line: Madame Tussauds Amsterdam
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Skip the general admission queues at Madame Tussauds Amsterdam with a skip-the-line ticket! See lifelike recreations of your favorite stars and celebs without wasting time in a long line when you purchase skip-the-line passes ahead of time. Follow Robert Langdon as he unravels the Da Vinci Code and get a taste of being famous with the world’s hottest (wax) celebrities at Madame Tussauds Amsterdam!
Madame Tussauds Amsterdam is now interactive and sensationally different! Not only will you come face to face with celebrities, but you can now also shop 'til you drop with superstar Jennifer Lopez, test your soccer skills against Ronaldinho, or have your picture taken with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie! or simply sing and dance the night away with Madonna!
At Madame Tussauds we believe experience is the essence of a fantastic time and a great memory. It's real. It's larger than life. It's more exciting than a rollercoaster. And you are the biggest part of it all. Sing. Dance. Dress up. Live out a fantasy. Stand next to your hero. All of it is possible at Madame Tussauds.
This was a good trip on the whole but was dissatisfied with the amount of model i thought there would have been more.

Enjoyable but not many exhibits.

Remember to collect tickets prior to going to Madame Tussauds. It was great fun.

The fast track queue for entrance was twice as long as the queue for tickets on the door. Enjoyed the experience but rather disappointing that there were so few exhibits, expensive for what it is.

Very entertaining, but the did not accept the Viator Voucher at the door. We had to find a Tours and Ticket office around the corner to exchange to actual tickets. It was a fun hour.

Didn't know until made booking had to go collect voucher from a ticket office, 5 minute walk in minus 4 weather wasn't nice.

Once inside it was great. However, we had to wait longer in the skip the line queue than the pay on the door line

Been to many and the figures weren and #39;t as lifelike as other tours. The VIP line was nonexistent so that was a minus.

We really enjoyed Madame Tussaud's, conveniently placed in Dam Square so easy to find. We went straight in and loved being able to take pictures with some of our favourite celebs.

a bit of a mix up as to where we were to pick up our tickets. I booked on line but the e ticket wouldnt print out. Once that was sorted out, it was a lovely place to visit. Got a lot of fun photos taken.

Loved Madame Tussauds - we had never been before and the children really enjoyed it. The skip the line queue was longer than the queue for tickets but to be fair it moved really quickly and we didn't wait too long at all. All the staff were really friendly as was staff everywhere you went in Amsterdam!. Got some great photos as its not at all overcrowded. Collecting the tickets using the e mail voucher was easy and we got an extra discount at the collection point when we booked another venue to visit!

Unfortunately we were unable to get into this attraction. Viator indicated we can present an electronic voucher however, when we arrived the employees at Madame Tussauds said they require the paper voucher. For whatever reason their Wi-Fi would not work for us. We tried going back to our hotel to use the Wi-Fi there in order to forward the email to an employee. When we arrived back at Madame Tussauds the employee said they received a blank email. Not sure how that could have happened, as my phone showed otherwise. At that point we gave up. Make sure to print your vouchers for this attraction!

Very small museum. Staff is not friendly. I needed help taking pics, they wouldnt even take one for me. I was by myself and they told me 'go take selfies', are you kidding me?
Review by: Diana.sonea, June 2014
Very interesting and the personnel was not very ridgid regarding touching/ handling the statues :)

We visited reasonably early and having tickets meant we bypassed the queue and went straight in. The enthusiastic young man on rope duty did ask if we’d like our photo taken with Mr Obama but not being American we declined. They only allow a certain number of people in at a time which made for a most enjoyable visit so we had plenty of time to stop and look at all the figures and marvel at their creation. There was a great range of "people" from all areas of life with "celebrities" being the most popular. We really recommend this as being the best way to visit Madame Tussaud's especially for people who don't have a lot of time and/or hate queues.

Loved it. Not a museum person, but this was lots of fun and very good. Highly recommended

Even after taking this ticket you have to wait in line for atleast 10 minutes it is best you take this in advance then wait long hours just for the tickets.
Review by: tamim a, April 2013
Recommended if you never visited similar places. Skip-the-line was soo useful as this place usually have a long waiting. Staff can be little bit annoying when they start offering photos and/or services. The building of the wax museum shared with a nice shooping store wich is also recommended after the Madame Tussauds experience.

No need to wait along the long lines.

Buying Viator tickets made our entry without joining the line.

there was no queue at the time we arrived however the museum was great, thoroughly enjoyed it. It was such a refreshing change to be able to touch and take photos
Review by: Hayley B, December 2011
Definitely something you have to see and get some good pics with the stars. Kept me and my partner amused. It's a must to buy online the line to get in otherwise is at least an hour.
Review by: Robert E G, September 2011
A world class exhibition. There is nothing more that can be said. Booking via viator was a blessing as the line to enter was about 1km long. We entered at the head of the line in less than 15secs.

I would definitely recommend this. Two queues outside Madam Tussauds, one for buying a ticket - 3-4 hours, and one if you have a prepaid. 2 minutes. Woth doing.

Excellent visit! A small version of Madame Tussauds, but not as crowded as the London version and that meant we could linger much longer and get photos of the celebrities. It took us about an hour to go around. When we visited there was a staff member explaining the process with examples of how the models are made, fascinating! Also worth a visit for the great view of Dam Square from the top window! It was brilliant to be able to skip the ever-present long line queuing for the entrance!

Madame Tussauds was great. However, it only took us 30 minutes to do the whole experience. Really enjoyed it but would have liked it to be a bit longer.
