I purchased this for my husband, son and grandson to enjoy. A few weeks before this fishing trip was scheduled, Davey's Locker sent an email changing the half-day, afternoon, fishing trip from leaving at noon to an 9am departure time. When I called to inquire about this I was told they needed to arrive by 830am. We were staying in Anaheim._br/_ When we arrived the man behind the counter at Davey's Locker said that we owed 81.00 for fishing licenses and bait, when we acted surprised he said that we would have known about this fee if we had read the small print. The fishing trip lasted from 9am boarded the boat until 3pm. _br/_ While I can't give the fishing company more than 3 stars because of the above, the men in my family enjoyed the day of fishing they caught several fishand my daughter-in-law and myself found plenty to keep us busy in the surrounding area.

Viator has one taxa on the Web but the fishing company another. We have to pay 99 dollar more and a lot of other pyment when we got there. Also the pickup place was unclear.

I enjoyed the fishing trip immensely. The weather was great, the crew was awesome. The only complaint I have, out of seven of us, I did not catch a fish. I was hoping to see bigger fish. They were too small. Maybe next tine. Too many people on the boat.

Actual length of fishing was shorter than expected and we didn't receive an E-mail informing us that the boat would depart at 8AM instead of 6AM but other than that the trip was fantastic.

Great fishing experience. Got plenty of fish to take home with my dad and uncle. Had a great time. You meet up at Daveys Locker out in Newport Beach and get put on a boat and head out to the ocean. Great people. Great atmosphere. Definitely doing this again.

We had a great time spending the morning fishing out on the open sea. I am not a fisherman, so I was worried that I wasn’t going to catch anything, but I ended up catching at least six fish! The crew was super helpful and friendly, and they were willing to assist with everything from set up to helping land the bigger fish. We went to a few different locations and everyone on board caught at least a few fish overall. At the end of the trip, they filleted the fishes so we could take them home cleaned and ready-to-cook. It was a really fun way to spend the day!

I’ve always wanted to go deep-sea fishing, so this was the perfect opportunity. The captain and crew were amazing and we had an awesome time! They provided the fishing poles and bait and we were able to purchase the lures right in the office before we left. I caught a good amount of fish and really had an enjoyable time. I definitely recommend this to anyone, whether they are an avid fisherman or someone who has never even picked up a pole!

It was a lot of fun and our kids really enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn't really appreciate the added "unknown" cost of having to "purchase" bags to use just in case we caught fish we could keep and we had to purchase one for every person.

Didnt catch very much - mainly very small fish. More pelicans were caught on this fishing trip. Apparently the water was a little cold for the fish according the crew. All in all a fabulous, relaxing day out. The staff were very relaxed and friendly on the boat. Great food cooking on the bbq, a few beers, sunshine and whoopa you have a great day.
