Watch a classic story of good versus evil unfold as you dine on a feast
fit for a pirate! Get ready for a night of special effects, wizardry,
swashbuckling swordplay and duels at the exciting Pirate's Dinner
Adventure. Your evening will provide the perfect blend of action,
adventure, comedy and romance while you enjoy a sumptuous dining
experience.
At Pirates Dinner Adventure Buena Park an authentically replicated
18th-century Spanish galleon is anchored in a 250,000 gallon indoor
lagoon with night sky lighting. Surrounding the lagoon is a six-sided
showroom of six additional "ships" where the audience is seated to enjoy
the show.
Voyagers on each of the six ships have their own
fearless pirate "mascot" whom they can cheer on as the adventure unfolds
with a cast of a dozen actors, singers and stunt performers engaging in
a bounty of action-packed exploits, accompanied by cannon blasts,
pyrotechnics and a liberal dose of wit and wizardry. In addition, more
than 150 guests have the chance to play an actual role in each show as
the evil Captain Sebastian the Black leads his crew of renegades to the
ship, taunting the seaport "villagers" (audience members) along the way.
Even youngsters can be part of the action, donning costumes to row
dinghies in a crucial pirate race around the lagoon or board the galleon
to brave the dastardly Sebastian the Black and rescue a beautiful
princess. For one shining moment, the fantasies of would-be pirates of
all ages become uncannily real in the interactive arena of Pirate's
Dinner Adventure Buena Park.

Took my eight-year-old daughter to Medieval Times and Pirates Dinner this year. She LOVED both of them. Surprisingly because there were Pirates she like the latter better. Pirates had better audience participation but, honestly, it all depends on the makeup of the audience and the mood of the crowd. Each had very good actors and each had great acting and appropriate adult humor that flew over the kid's head. The food was OK...not bad for banquet dining. Bring some extra cash each time I was short for giving the servers the tip they deserved. There is an ATM at M.T., but not at Pirates why???. Parking is easy. Make sure the kids use the restroom BEFORE the performance starts insist on it!!. Pay the extra money to sit closer to the performers.

The show was awesome but the dinner was not. Don't go with the expectations of a great meal. It is set with no changes nor consideration to allergies even if they are contacted before hand. It is what it is. But go for the experience it was fun.

I went to see the Pirate Dinner Adventure with my boyfriend and we both loved it . The atmosphere was great and the staff super friendly and animated the guests to participate. I recommend to come early to take pictures at the venue (can be purchased afterwards) and to enjoy the appetizers before the show …we sure did . The show is great for all ages ,plenty of funny skids, acrobatics and even a aerial act that’s won`t leave you bored .After the show the actors came outside to take pictures with the guests . A nice touch we took advantage off . There are also two gift shops to buy all kinds of piratic trinkets and souvenirs .All around a great evening for the whole family . We will definitely see this show again .

Show business is what i do,so i don't easily get impressed but definitely much better then I thought! Yes the acting is not Broadway but is great, singer wench girl has an amazing voice. each pirate has their own particular charm, the jokes are funny, and there's a pretty decent storyline. Plus the gypsy girl is a super talented acrobat! She was one of my favorite parts of the show! The show is insanely interactive with tons of audience participation. The actors do a fantastic job paying attention to the audience and interacting with them. the food: I honestly I wasn't expecting much. This is not a place you come to for the food but it was good to my taste. Even the brownie for dessert and ice cream was good. service excellent, friendly staff over all. and what's best my girl loved the whole experience, I highly recommend it.

It was fantastic, there is only one thing missing in my opinion. More water effects. Thank you, next time will take the kids

We enjoyed this greatly. Our waiter was friendly. The show was entertaining and funny. The food was good especially considering feeding a mass croud. Lots of drinking going on which takes away from a family focused trip.

Fun night and we found it to be a bit more entertaining then the Medieval Times (we did that in 2011). Food was a bit basic but not bad and service was good.

I have to say this is the worst show that I've ever had. Plus, the food is horrible too. It's the $5 chicken that you can get at any super market. I paid extra to get the "preferred seats" but there was no different with the regular seats and My boyfiend and I had to seat with another couple ... long to short... it sucks... totally not worth your money....

None of the bookings I made with victor were found on people's systems that was disappointing

everything was really good! I think the show was more for kids age 5-18. It was really cool how the kids were involved in the show. Only thing is to suggest, Is to make sure u call the actual park after making your reservations. To get a showing time and good seats.

Very noisy and poorly done, could have been better run.

The pre-show food and antics of the actors were great. Dinner was excellent. The show and interaction of the crowd were amazing. This was a 3 generation vacation: myself, my father, and my son. We all agreed that this was a great experience. We will definitely be back!

I didn't like that you couldn't get reservations for the time online; you had to call the place after you paid your money, when they could specify a certain time and you would be stuck for the money even though they say you have time to back out. However, I had no trouble getting the time I wanted. Otherwise it was an awesome experience, the process worked well, and I would use Viator again.
