A professional tour guide will pick you up and drive you south along the Turnagain Arm, looking for sheep, mountain goats, moose, eagles, and more wildlife native to this area. The main attraction is the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center where we will visit with musk ox, moose, elk herd, caribou herd, and more Alaskan wild animals - these are our guaranteed animal friends! The musk ox are right at home in the winter wonderland and even the once thought to be extinct wood bison make for a picturesque photo with the amazing backdrop of the Chugach Range and Turnagain Arm.

Your professional guide will pick you up at your hotel or from our office in downtown Anchorage.  When meeting your guide, you will be welcomed on one of our comfortable 15-passenger Sprinter van.  From here, we will drive approximately one hour South while taking in the scenic views of Turnagain Arm, Chugach Mountains, and hopefully some wildlife!  The main attraction is the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC) where we will visit with musk ox, moose, elk herd, caribou herd, and more Alaskan wild animals - these are our guaranteed animal friends! The musk ox are right at home in the winter wonderland and even the once thought to be extinct wood bison make for a picturesque photo with the amazing backdrop of the Chugach Range and Turnagain Arm. Upon arrival at AWCC, guests will enjoy a fully guided tour of the facility before their return to Anchorage with complimentary hotel drop off.
