8-Day Wonders of the Mediterranean Tour

Discover Athens and some of Greece's most famous islands as you soak up both sun and culture during this 5-day tour. Enjoy a breadth of highlights out on the depths of the ocean. Day 1 (Wednesday): Athens
You will be transferred to your hotel with the rest of the day free to explore this ancient city. In the evening, you will meet your tour leader and fellow traveling companions.

Day 2 (Thursday): Athens Acropolis (B)
In the morning, you will start your half-day tour with a visit to the Acropolis. At the Acropolis visit the museum, the towering entrance of Propylaea, the Temple of Nike and the most famous of Greek relics, the Parthenon. Next, you'll stop at the stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held. There will also be time to admire the Olympian Zeus and the Arch of Hadrian.

Day 3 (Friday): Athens to Santorini (B)
You will depart early morning for the breathtaking Island of Santorini, where you can soak up the sun and relax on the beach or perhaps explore the picturesque capital Firá.

Day 4 (Saturday): Santorini (B)
Take an optional boat trip in the world's biggest volcanic crater above sea level. Visit the active volcano, swim in the warm thermal waters and take a therapeutic mud bath.

Day 5 (Sunday): Santorini to Mykonos (B)
You will arrive in Mykonos and explore the white-washed town or head for the beach before experiencing the completely outrageous Mykonian nightlife.

Day 6 (Monday): Mykonos (B)
Your tour will take the day off and enjoy free time - spend the day on the beach, stroll around the town or take a trip to one of the small villages. This settlement of Ancient Greece operates in modern day as an island-wide open-air museum.

Day 7 (Tuesday): Mykonos, Samos (D)
You will catch the next midnight ferry heading towards the island of Samos and make your way to Turkey with free time to explore the town of Samos or Kusadasi (depending on ferry schedules).

Day 8 (Wednesday): Kusadasi (B)
After breakfast, your tour concludes with a goodbye to your new friends.
