See the sights of modern and ancient Athens on a 2-hour Segway tour, led by a local guide! On your self-balancing electric Segway, glide through the city streets, stopping by famous monuments to hear tales about this charismatic city. Admire sights of the Acropolis of Athens, visit Zappeion Garden, and then see top Athens' attractions like Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Zeus, Panathinaikos Stadium and more!
This small-group tour is limited to 12 people, ensuring you’ll receive special attention from your guide.
Meet your friendly guide at your chosen time – 10am, 12pm or 4pm – and start with an orientation session to get familiar with your two-wheeled, electric, self-balancing Segway. Once you feel comfortable, you’ll weave through tree-lined streets close to the Acropolis of Athens, following your guide into the heart of the city.
Glide past Hadrian’s Arch, the monumental gateway that once separated the old and new part of the city, and hear about the Emperor Hadrian who ruled Athens during the 2nd century AD. After stopping to take photos and listen to tales about this historic area, set off for your next stop.
See the Temple of Zeus, the largest monument of Ancient Greece, and pass through Zappeion Garden – a wonderfully serene extension of the National Garden of Athens. Stop to look at the Old Parliament House on Stadiou Street and swing past the Presidential Mansion, admiring its majestic white façade.
Your 2-hour tour finishes with a look at Panathinaikos – the city stadium -- where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1895. Also known as Kalimarmaro Stadium, this vast site has a seating capacity of 60,000 and is one of Athens’ true modern-day highlights.
After exploring all the city sights with your guide, glide back to the start point where your tour ends.
They were really helpful and patient for first time riders. Great experience and highly recommend doing the first day you are in Athens. Quick way to see a lot of sites and get your bearings.

No one told us the tour starts at the Segway store. A really nice Greek lady called the # provided and walked us to the location. Once we arrived the group had left. Fabio who was about to get off work volenteered to take us on a private tour. We had so much fun seeing Athens by Segway.Thanks Fabio

Fantastic time. This was the first time we have ever done the Segways. At the start, they teach you how to use them, I must admit, I didn't think my wife was going to be able to do it, but the instructor / tour guide took her out one more time and the we were on our way, by the end of the tour, my wife wanted to buy one. It was so good, cruising around Athens, going to the markets, past the Acropolis, in the park and many more places. We are now planing to do this everywhere we travel, have a go.

Did the Segway Tour in Athens. Eric was our guide he was fantastic My daughter had difficulty with the Segway Eric waspatient and kind and assisted her so she could stay on the Tour. Excellent !!!

1st ever try at a Segway tour, and to say we were pleased is an understatement. The guide was informative, the learning curve for a Segway very simple and the family enjoyed. As we were in Athens for only 8hrs, this was a great way to see the sites and not over heat, it was 39 Deg. Great time by all, would recommend. thank you Paul, Julie and Charlotte

This was a wonderful tour! We had SO much fun on the Segways and felt well trained and safe. Our guide Alex? was charming and funny and showed us some really neat sights around town. We had toured Athens the day before with a driver and worried it may be a repeat of sights, but it wasn't! He took us places a driver couldn't go. Highly recommended, especially if you have teens along...they LOVED it!

Due to hiccups with transport I missed this tour :- was to be after lunch trip but slept in a little long, Hop On Hop Off bus late leaving the cruise terminal, I got lost in Plaka and missed tour by about 10 mins. Next one would have meant missing bus back to terminal so cut my losses and went over to next HOHO bus route only to find routes shutdown due to road cycle event and no idea when back to normal :-

Great way to see the city of Athens when you don and #39;t have much time. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and for each site we visited she shared the history. We only had one day in Athens and between this tour and a visit to the Acropolis we felt we had the best Athens experience.

Oh my god I loved this! I had never been on a Segway before but they made it so easy! The tour ended up just being my daughter and I and it was great. Our guide answered all of our questions and showed us the historical and modern sites of Athens.

Fantastic. Highly recommend. Our guide was fabulous and so informative. Was a bit nervous about riding the Segway as I hadn't done it before but after 10 minhutes was hooting about everywhere. Really enjoyable way to get about and saves your legs if you've been already doing alot of walking on your holiday.

Our guide was very informative and friendly and we stopped off at quite a few spots. The only issue was that we weren and #39;t able to enter any of the most popular spots, even if we paid for the tickets ourselves, which made the trip fun, but a tad useless if you wanted to check things out up close.

What an enjoyable and fun way to see Athens! Having never used a Segway before, the tour started with a training session on its operation. It is a little bit more difficult than one would think, but after a few minutes we had it down and were ready to go. Our tour guide, whose name escapes me she was originally from Finland was wonderful and very helpful and patient during our training. We went around the perimeter of the Acropolis with a few stops along the way for photos. We also went through lively market towards the end and we enjoyed the entire experience. Much more fun than walking!!

A fun way to see parts of Athens. Didn and #39;t really take us up close to the Parthenon, could isn and #39;t see it from a far distance so we had to reserve extra time to do that ourselves.

This was our first helicopter flight ,it was terrific from pick up to drop off , if you fancy the Hoover dam and flying into the Grand Canyon take this tour , our pilot Connor is a mind of local knowledge top man corney jokes though , fantastic experience and staff

Casey was an awesome pilot, he was informative and had a great sense of humor. The trip itself was awesome as well. Maverick Helicopters were 1st class, from the time we got picked up by the shuttle until we returned to the nice office building at the airport. The actual helicopter was in great shape and had plenty of viewing space from both the front and the back seats. Concerned about cost? Remember, you get what you pay for! Enjoy!

I highly recommend this tour. Vera was an amazing tour guide. We took the Acropolis tour and she was very informative and funny. It was a great way to see a lot of ruins and get an idea of where we wanted to go later on foot!
