After getting up close to the city’s revered ancient sights, head for the Greek Parliament and the Presidential Residence to learn more about modern-day Greece. Then, get a taste of daily local life in Plaka, the city’s Old Town. Cruise through the narrow streets lined with neoclassical architecture, Byzantine churches and independent shops, and soak up the buzzing atmosphere in the flea market neighborhood of Monastiraki as locals and visitors haggle with traders over clothes, shoes, handbags, pottery and jewelry. After around three hours, your tour concludes back at the original start point.
Electrify Bike Tour_br/_ One of the great tours of all time. We saw so many sites from the ease and comfort afforded from the saddle of these electric cruises. How guard, George, was incredibly engaging. The bikes were easier to ride. Athens is very hilly. We saw people on regular bikes. Most of them were not having fun. The tour meanders through the trails of this ancient city like a hot knife through feta. We saw the changing of the guard in front of the palace, the roman baths, the acropolis, mars hill and so much more. The tour was very safe, rarely going on Athens's notorious busy traffic choke roads.

George was a nice tour guide and took us to see the important sites around Athens. We were able to see the weekly changing of the guard and managed to avoid the busy streets and stay safe. He took us for some great photo opportunities and we learned a little more history than we already knew.

Did this tour on a rainy day with 3 teenagers ...so we were expecting a lot! The tour is very informal and George, our guide, delivered the perfect balance of factual information and entertainment. The bikes are great fun, easy to ride and make getting around hilly Athens easy. We got a flavour of what Athens is about so that we could return to the things we wanted to see more of later in our holiday. George also gave us recommendation for places to eat and drink ....all of which were spot on! Great afternoon!!

I signed up for a group tour, but when I arrived at We-Bike Athens, I found that I was the only person on the tour. My guide, Sotiris, gave me a quick introduction to the electric bike which I had never tried and we were off to explore Athens. If you want to bike Athens, I highly recommend going with an electric bike tour because Athens is a city with lots of hills and we went up two really steep ones to get spectacular views of the city. Sotirus took me to most of the hot tourist spots - Temple of Zeus, Hephaestous Temple, Ancient Market of Athens, Zappeio Hall, Panathinaiko Stadium and Greek Parliament and the Queens Garden. Sotirus was very knowledgeable about Greek history and spoke English very well.

Just got back from Greece and would highly recommend this electric bike tour. George our guide was wonderful. He was full of information and humor. Riding the bikes through hilly Athens was fun and easy. The ease of riding the bike allowed you to enjoy the sites around you. It was a good way to orientate yourself to Athens before heading out on your own. George made sure when our tour was done that we knew where we were going, as well as, making some suggestions as to where locals go. Little Cooks in the Psirri area was a unique place for coffee and shopping at the Flee Market in Monastiraki were both great suggestions. Everyone in Athens was so helpful and friendly. We loved this tour. The day we went it was just my daughter, myself and our guide, so it was essentially a private tour. Physically very easy so no worries there. And a great way to get a relatively quick overview of some of the main sites in Athens. Our guide Natalie was very pleasant and helpful. She even recommended a couple of places for meals during our time in Athens and we found the food excellent when we followed her recommendations.

We did the tour with Sotos and it was a great fun, efficient way to see the major Athens attractions in the height of the summer crowds and heat. The bikes were fantastic and very well maintained. Sotos was very informative and gave plenty of time to take in the attractions and take plenty of photos along the way. If you can ride a bike - you can do this tour!

This tour was amazing! We had a family of 5 2 adults, 1 teenager, 2 younger boys. I've now decided I need an electric bike. I found the guide super informative. The staff super friendly! It was just long enough and the best part was not having to strain up the hills! You do drive down busy streets so you have to be a little confident with that. It also worked out perfect from the cruise ship. We were in port 8am - 6pm and had plenty of time for the tour, then hopped on the metro and went down to the acropolis and had plenty of time to walk to the top and back to the ship before leaving. not sure if you would have enough time for the museum too, depending on how slow you walk

Okay, this was just fantastic. First of all, Georges, our guide, was wonderful and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. The electric bikes were awesome. I though it would feel like a motorcycle, but no...you have to pedal the bike and when you start to go up an incline, the motor kicks in. It feels like someone is pushing you gently from behind. Wonderful feeling since Athens is quite hilly and it was very hot that day. We were all over the place. Georges took us to Pynx, the place where democracy was born, we saw changing of the guard in front of the prime ministers palace, we saw parks, the olympic stadium...the list goes on. This was well worth the . Please dont miss this tour, you will love it.

It was so fun to zip through the streets of Athens past old ruins and the crowds. We got to stop and see great sights, climb hills easily and cover a lot of ground. Natalie was a wonderful and was fun to spend the time with. We had a hard time finding it so give yourself some extra time.

We had an excellent tour with Marina recently. The electric bikes allow access to many, many sites without fatigue and without the restrictions of motorized vehicle travel. Time was allowed at the beginning of the tour to familiarize riders with the bikes and to plan the course. There were many sites to see with interesting commentary by our amazing guide. This is my new favorite way to tour!

Since we had a very good experience on bike tour in Barcelona 2014, then we start to do bike tour whenever we travel to a new city on the first day. The benefit is to go around the city less time and viewing much larger areas, so we can decide which places to visit on our priority list._br/_ This time in Athens we choose the ebike since the areas are pretty hilly. Yes, we did a right choice. The ebike save us an arm and leg._br/_ After 3 hrs tour, we still have lots energy to go visit acropolis and museum. It was a great experience despite the fact that it was only 8 c out. George our tour guide did a wonderful job showing us around on the eBikes. This tour is ideal for people who are short on time but want to see more than 'average' tourists would see. With George's professional and interesting illustrations, we made the best out of our 2.5 hours with him on this tour. The duration is ideal to cover what we have covered without overwhelming ourselves.

Our We Bike Athens tour was one of the highlights of our Mediterranean trip. The electric bike was a great way to see this amazing city and its many sites. Our tour guide, Marina, was knowledgeable and easy going. She didn't rush us though sites, but allowed our group to go at our own pace. This was a great start to our Athens visit as we only had 2 days before sailing. We did this tour the first day we arrived and were glad we did. It gave us an overview of the area with many of the main attractions and historic sites. The bike guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and he made the 3 hour tour very enjoyable. We had some rain and he even provided us with rain ponchos. There were only 4 of us in the group so it was a highly personable experience. The bikes were easy to manage and much of the time we were on pedestrian only streets. I would highly recommend doing this tour first and then following up with the Acropolis Museum and then walking up to the Acropolis. The views of Athens are outstanding. 5 stars, do not miss taking this tour.
