This adventure of food and wine gives you the chance to experience authentic farm life and organic Greek dining in a natural rural environment. Your host carefully selects the menu based on seasonal vegetables. Feast while live music enhances the intimate experience, limited to 12 people.
Begin your unique dinner experience on Litous Street at 6pm. From here, a vehicle will take your small group to a local farm where you will experience true Greek hospitality. The farmers greet you with a refreshing homemade drink. Explore their lush land and pick vegetables from a garden ripe with seasonal produce. Visit the animals, including goats, chickens that produce the fresh eggs for the farm, and unofficial farm mascot Billy the donkey.
Join your hosts at the family-style dinner table, and enjoy a delicious and traditional Greek BBQ buffet that includes fragrant lamb sizzling on the spit, hot baked feta cheese, thick eggplant dip, and leafy green salads with vegetables from the farm. There are plenty of vegetarian options available. During dessert, listen and dance to evocative bouzouki (Greek guitar) music played live.
Before returning to Athens, stop by the farm’s pop-up store to peruse their organic homemade olive oil and other products. At the end of the evening, return to your original departure point.
