My wife and I went to Athens for a two night stay which allowed us to take the full day tour. Excellent tour, lunch was very good and filling giving you a real taste of Greece, and of course the Guide was wonderful! The tour for me was worth it. The Stadium was without entry altho we stopped for a few minutes. Great info as we made our way up to the Acropolis which was the bulk of the first half day. Soon was the 2nd half and the Temple of Poseidon. As impressive as The Acropolis._br/_ The highlight of the tour was Maria our Guide. Great tour. Saw the highlights of Athens in the morning. The Acropolis and Olympic Stadium. Visited the Acropolis Museum. All worthwhile and very interesting. What a wonderful full day tour! Once again, not disappointed booking with viator! Viator handled their tour expertly from hotel pickup to drop off at the end of the day! Our guide was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. It was a very busy day atop the Acropolis and perhaps we should've been equipped with headphones but in all fairness to our guide, she repeated as needed to make sure we all could hear. Very informative narrative the entire day. Lunch was very nice at a nearby restaurant. After lunch we had booked the add on afternoon portion to visit the Temple of Poseidon located on Cape Sounion. Great decision! I love Athens but it was also very enjoyable seeing Greece countryside outside the city on the seaside drive to the Temple. This was my second visit to Athens. I thoroughly enjoyed it as much as the first time! I hope there's a return visit to Greece at some point in my future!

The hotel pick up okay the drive through the city of Athens okay but the problem became visiting the Acropolis for someone being 73. The weather was too hot but that is not organised by Viator. The guide gave too much information. It gave the impression he had to fill the time. Then walk to the Acroplis Museum here again too much information. Then again walking to the restaurant and to the travel agent. Half day walking!!!! Not my game. In the afternoon an other guide to the temple of Poseidon and this guide was the difference with the one in the morning.

Loved this tour and was very impressed with the tour guide. Be prepared to do a considerable amount of walking, especially on uneven rocky surfaces. Bring a water bottle! Lunch outdoors at a nearby restaurant was fun, followed by an hour-long bus ride to Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea. Would definitely recommend this tour.
