Start your tour with a hotel pickup from central Athens, and then travel into the city center by luxury, air-conditioned minibus. Your first stop is the Greek Parliament House in Syntagma Square to see the Greek Monument to the Unknown Soldier and to watch the daily Changing of the Guard ceremony. Have your camera ready to capture shots of the soldiers marching their synchronized moves, and then continue exploring the city.

Pass a cluster of top Athens attractions including the National Garden, Schlieman’s House, the University of Athens and the Russian Orthodox Church, and then head to Panathinaikos Stadium to see where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. After a quick photo stop, loop around the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch, and work your way to the UNESCO-listed Acropolis of Athens.

See the Attalos Gallery and Temple of Hephaestus, and then work your way back to the start point where your tour finishes.

It seems like they don't have this small group tour anymore. The tour operator called me the day before and told me they only had the large group one without the Agora available. They gave me back 21 Euro in cash at their office which was the difference in price of small and large group tour. The only difference was not seeing the Agora, which you can easily do on your own when the tour ends.

This was the highlight I was waiting for when I booked my trip to Greece and it was worth it. It happened to be the hottest day of the summer, but our guide, Anastasia, was considerate, and smartly walked us up the slope with frequent breaks. She was knowledgeable, and passionate about the history. It was a good move to have us review all the pieces in the Acropolis museum before actually going up the hill - it made for great visualisation. The walk through the Agora, followed by Plaka were fascinating as well.
