Four Hour Atlanta City Sightseeing Tour by Coach
Atlanta, United States of America
Take a whirlwind bus tour of top Atlanta attractions including Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola and Turner Field on this half-day sightseeing tour, a fun way to see the best of Atlanta in a short amount of time. Hop off the bus at designated stops for more in-depth exploration of Centennial Park, the Martin Luther King Jr National Historic Site and Atlantic Station. Learn about Atlanta’s history and neighborhoods from your guide, keep your energy up with complimentary water and snacks, and participate in trivia games on board your comfortable coach.
Board the sightseeing bus in the parking lot next door to the varsity in the morning to begin your 5-hour tour of this dynamic city’s major landmarks and neighborhoods. Your guide will break the ice with fun trivia games and hand out complimentary water bottles and snacks.
See Turner Field -- home of the Atlanta Braves -- and the Georgia State Capitol on your way to your first stop, Centennial Olympic Park. Take a quick stroll around this glorious green space, built for the Summer Olympics in 1996, and snap photos of nearby landmarks including Georgia Aquarium, CNN Center and the World of Coca-Cola.
Continue to your next stop, the Martin Luther King Jr National Historic Site, which includes the final resting place of the great civil rights leader. Spend 45 minutes taking pictures and soaking up the atmosphere of this moving site before boarding the bus for the short ride to Atlantic Station, a bustling residential, office and shopping complex in Midtown.
During your 1-hour stop at Atlantic Station, enjoy lunch (own expense) at a popular local eatery, shop at major retailers, or view the Titanic or Bodies exhibitions (own expense).
Hop back on the bus and see more sights such as the Margaret Mitchell House -- where the author of Gone With the Wind lived -- and the historic Fox Theatre. Instead of returning you to your hotel, your bus tour of Atlanta ends in mid-afternoon at The Varsity, billed as 'The World's Largest Drive-in Restaurant,' where you can relax and grab a snack.
Informational, fun very enjoyable. One word of caution they no longer do hotel pick ups as stated on the web site. That was a little bit of a last minute problem as I didn't receive that information until 7 am the day of the tour.

First time we were disappointed. The coach was a rehabbed bus like is used by auto rental companies to take u to the airport. Benches on either side. The tour was partly done via recorded disc.

Beware! This was advertised as 5 hour tour. It was barely 3. No company name on and #34; shuttle and #34; driver basically put in a CD that she would play at certain points. Pointed out Walgreens! A cab driver would have known more about the city. Worst tour ever.

My grandkids and myself had a wonderful time. It was especially nice to see the sights in an air conditioned vehicle. Our tour guide was very nice and informative. The grandkids were especially impressed by the MLK Historical part of the tour.
