Walking Dead Filming Location Tour in Haralson
Atlanta, United States of America
Calling all fans of "The Walking Dead!" This in-depth and interactive tour will allow you to explore filming locations from Seasons 2 through 5 of the hit television series. While on tour, you'll be fully equipped with all the necessary replica weaponry used in the show that might be necessary to fend off any and all threats you may encounter.
Welcome to Haralson, Georgia which is located 5 miles south of 'Woodbury' (also know as Senoia) and made famous by the popular television show The Walking Dead. Your tour starts inside Cherokee Rose Retail where you will be equipped with your favorite The Walking Dead character's weapon.
After leaving the shop, your guide will entertain you with lots of behind-the-scenes information. You will then enter the Esco Feed Mill Complex where you can pose with your weapons for a photo. As you get closer to the silos, you will walk past the tanks were Daryl and Martinez killed the walkers. Pick your walker for the Zombie Bash with Martinez's bat!
Next, you will enter Merles Death Barn. Stand where the Governor killed Merle, "shoot" out the window where Merle ambushes the Governor and see the spot where Merle died and Daryl cried. You'll even be given the change to recreate this scene. Then it's off to the Meeting Barn to see the negotiation table and what type of decisions can be made with a glass of whiskey.
Brace yourself! There will be a few surprises along the way. The only way to figure them out is to join this in-depth Walking Dead tour!
Totally different experience tour. Our guide was awesome, and we were shown so many different filming locations. The guide would play the clip and then we found ourselves standing in it, or on it. The guide took care of all the pictures and even a video of us recreating a scene. The prop play acting was so much fun! If you are a Walking Dead fan this tour is a must and pick your weapons wisely as they may come in handy, lol Highly recommend it!

Tour was pretty cool ! Even tho it was cold as hell. I got the souvenir note. ☺ would've taken more pics if it was warmer but had a great time and learned that Esso has the last complete gin mill. We also saw that due to The Walking Dead and other filming in, Haralson GA is reviving the town. Bravo

This tour was so fun! It was cool to see the places TWD was filmed from one of my favorite episodes. The staff here is so nice and you have an opportunity to dress up as your favorite character. They are very knowledgeable about the scenes from the show as well as where to see other sites where the show has been filmed. They have a nice gift shop and you can take your picture in front of a green screen, so many Walking Dead backdrops are available. I like that you can ask questions and you are not rushed through your tour! My tour guide was awesome.

It was very interesting and the guy that took us was very good with a lot of details. They also told us other places to go see and abut other movies sets in the area. Id do this one again.

Tour guide was very knowledgable about the show._br/_ However, the tour did not need to be as long as it was, especially in the heat.

For the cost, it was really one area on large land. The staff was extremely friendly and informative about TWD actors. We did have fun as a family. We just thought it would have been more areas for the money.

The tour guide was a human index of Walking Dead knowledge-episode by episode. It was great to see the settings and reenact scenes from the show we love. Getting to use weapon as photo props was a great addition.

I was hesitant about this tour because it covered relatively fewer scenes and locations. However, they were particularly important and memorable scenes. What really made the tour was the ability to dress up as your favorite character. Most just did in the shop and had pictures taken with a green screen. I opted, however, to actually take the tour in costume. For me it had to be Daryl and I actually got to carry a cross bow. I recommend that you do this tour together with the Senoia Tour which is just a few miles up the road.

We had a really good time. We were running late due to traffic and they were very understanding and waited for us.The behind the scene facts were interesting and fun to learn. The ladies who did the tour were friendly and made you feel at home.

It was a very fun tour. I took my two teenage girls and they loved the reenactments they got to do. It was nice to see the places where they filmed some of the walking dead. We are all huge walking dead fans so this was a fun trip.

We had a blast . The tour guides are a hoot and full of fun facts . They showed us personal pics of the cast and crew of TWD . We highly recommend !!
Review by: Sandra B, April 2016
interesting and the tour guide was knowledgeable but she wanted to stop and take pictures and reenact screens and most of us just wanted to hear the stories. Way to long for a 300 feet square walking tour.
Review by: Heidi F, April 2016
The tour was good. Our tour guide was very good and very much into the Walking Dead. It was neat to see some of the buildings. I paid 25.00 a person for this which I thought was high for walking around with weapons. It was a little confusing because online it said it was only 10.00 a person but I was charged 25 a person. Not sure if I was supposed to get anything special but didn't. I would recommend it for 10.00 but not for 25.00.

The guide knew her Walking Dead shows! She encouraged the group to act out some scenes and take pictures. Easy walking tour. She also told us about the areas in Senoia where filming took place.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the filming in the area. It was a very good value for the price. If you are a WD fan I recommend thios tour.
Review by: Massimo I, November 2015
A good tour with a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. This is a walking tour of the locations in Haralson - for the governor's city, aka Senoia, you would need your own car
Review by: Terrie H, October 2015
It was amazing! We had so.much fun role playing scenes from TWD .....our tour guide was engaging and knew her TWD facts and trivia. Well worth the.2 hour trip!
Review by: Jimmy M, October 2015
It was an okay tour. The guide was knowledgeable, but bragged too much about being part of the set and how much land she owned. It was okay, but I think I'll go elsewhere next time.
