See fantastic Auckland from the heights of this dormant Volcano Mt Eden. 5. Visit the Auckland domain and see the exquisite Wintergardens. 6. 3 hours of visit to the city for those who with little time can have a vision of the most important points. For me to cross the Auckland bridge, see the port and the skyline of the city, and take photos and videos of the excellent views from the Mt. Eden was the best of the tour as well as explanations about the Maori culture.

Paul with Toru Tours is an excellent driver and guide. He is extremeely courteous and thorough and we enjoyed our glimpse of Auckland very much. The sights were nice and varied, and the history commentary was quite informative. It made for a pleasant visit to this lovely city.

Paul, our driver, was very friendly, informative, and gave us a good explanation and view of the outer area of Auckland. He picked us up promptly at our hotel and also loaded our luggage in the back of the van, since I had requested this in my original contact with him. Many tourists walk around the CBD central business district, but you need a vehicle to see the suburbs and Paul had a comfortable van for a few of us to travel in and gave us a good tour of the area. We traveled over the Harbor Bridge, saw the Winter Gardens from the van, stopped at Mt. Eden to view the 360 degree angle of the city from this high vantage point, stopped at One Tree Hill in Cornwall Park where we saw sheep grazing on the nearby farm, and stopped at Bastion Point where we saw the Michael J. Savage memorial. After the 3 hours, Paul dropped us and our luggage off at the cruise terminal, so that was great! If you are like us -- going on a cruise -- and want to see more of Auckland rather than just walking around the CBD, take this tour. It is only 3 hours, you can get dropped off at the terminal if you request this ahead of time and you will have a better knowledge of Auckland. Enjoy!

Paul was great. We needed to be back to the drop off spot on time in order to get our luggage out of storage. We let Paul know, and there was no problem. He took us out of the city, which is where we had the most beautiful views of the city and surrounding islands.

This was a great tour. Our tour guide, Paul, was brilliant. He involved all nationalities on board and made the experience very entertaining for all of us.
