You'll board your boat at the Auckland Ferry Terminal for a relaxing 90-minute sightseeing cruise of Auckland from the water. Catch all the highlights, including the Auckland Harbour Bridge, Bean Rock Lighthouse, Sky Tower, historic Devonport and the Devonport Naval Base.

You'll have a 10-minute stop at Rangitoto Island (weather permitting) where you can see its volcanic terrain firsthand. The 600-year-old volcanic island sits just off the Auckland coast and is known for its rugged lava rock, lush native vegetation and sandy coves.

As you cruise along, you’ll hear informative commentary from the crew and be served complimentary morning or afternoon tea. At the end of your tour you’ll be returned to the Auckland Ferry Terminal.

Your tour includes a complimentary round-trip ferry ticket to Devonport, good for one year from the date of your Auckland Harbor cruise. Twelve minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland, the village of Devonport is one the city’s oldest suburbs. You can easily spend several hours to a full day exploring the picturesque town at your leisure. Stroll along streets lined with Victorian villas, boutique craft shops, fashion outlets and local art galleries. Or climb to the top of the volcanic cones of Mount Victoria or North Head for fantastic views across the city and the nearby islands of the Hauraki Gulf.

After exploring the shops and mountains of Devonport, you can refresh yourself at the cafes or award-winning restaurants around town. Or watch the chocolatiers at work in the local chocolate shop, Devonport Chocolates, and take home some of their tasty chocolates and truffles.

What an amazing experience being aboard the Harbour Cruise whilst the Volvo Ocean Sailing In Port Race was taking place! Being able to view the sailboats and the race up close was truly memorable. Very nice and safe experience for a family, with coffee/tea and muffin included. Easy to use and easy way to see the city from the water. Impossible to hear the narration, and you really just travel back and forth.

A must-do for Auckland. Plan to be there about 30 to 45 min ahead to exchange voucher for ticket. Can be very windy but there is an indoor area.

Viators paperwork was good but a bit confusing when you got to the piers as in didn't know exactly where to go._br/_ The walk from where the ship docked to the piers was at least 3/4 of a kilometre and for the elderly and/or disabled was too much. Some sort of transport for those that needed it should have been in place._br/_ Harbour sightseeing tour was really great got to see many sights._br/_ Devonport was a lovely place would have liked more time there._br/_ Was a pleasant day out._br/_ Helen Hayes NSW AUS

An enoyable way to spend a few hours in auckland. The boat staff was friendly and informative. Since most of the people on this trip were upstairs and outside most the time, we felt as if we had a private boat tour. Great overall experience!

During winter, dont make the mistake of staying at the open deck. It's freezing! But overall, the cruise was great. They gave out free hot coffee and delicious blueberry muffins. Be sure to listen to the commentary. Theres a short quiz that the kids would surely enjoy!

For the price this tour is exceptional value. We used our free ferry ticket to go to Devonport for a segway tour and the harbour cruise was a nice way to spend the afternoon. The waterways are magnificent, Auckland has huge expanses of harbour, the water is so clean, the surroundings very pretty. Well worthwhile.

This was a lovely tour - very relaxing and afternoon tea was provided. We were also provided with 2 ferry tickets to Devonport and we spent the rest of the day exploring Devonport which was a pretty little village. The only negative was that the wharf where we needed to board was changed and no announcement, so it very confusing as there was no one around to ask where to go. We only found out through another couple who went to investigate and they came back to tell us. Once we finally got on the boat, it was enjoyable as we cruised around Auckland harbour and the commentary was very informative.

Quite disappointed with how boring this sightseeing cruise was. The commentary was very average and the sights themselves not really what we thought we were getting. The afternoon tea was also a bit of a let down. As we didn't use the round-trip Devonport Ferry ticket it wasn't value for money.

Great afternoon cruising along the harbour with really good information on the city and its history. Great views, too. Got a chance to stop off at Rangitoto for about 15min. The Devonport ticket is not part of the main tour, which was good because you can do that trip at your leisure within 12mths. I went to Devonport that afternoon and it's just beautiful. I think this tour would be even better in Summer I went just at the end of Winter, so a bit cold. Definitely recommend to anyone with an afternoon to spare in Auckland.

There's not much to see so the cruise is just the chance to get a view of the city from the water. Rountip Devonport ferry is just what it said, It get you there and back in a 10 minutes ferry ride.
