Auckland Waterfront Guided Bike Tour
Auckland, New Zealand
Take time for a leisurely bike tour of Auckland’s waterfront, starting from the historical city center. You'll ride along easy bicycle paths to golden-sand beaches and the charming seaside community of Mission Bay. This 4-hour tour with a guide at the helm departs in the morning or afternoon.
At your selected departure time in the morning or afternoon, meet your guide in the central business district (CBD). Your 4-hour bike tour begins a safety briefing before a short walk to your first stop with an introduction to Auckland and its early days. After assistance fitting your bicycle and helmet, follow your guide to Britomart, site of the city's hippest shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Then pedal onward to Queens Wharf, which boasts views of the city's northern suburbs. Visit the Rainbow Warrior monument and hear tales of the city's political and innovative past. From the waterfront, view Judges Bay and Parnell, Auckland's oldest suburb, and cycle to Okahu Landing to rediscover the historic arrival of the Maori people.
Reaching the golden sands of Mission Bay, make a stop for light refreshments (own expense), then stop at the Michael Joseph Savage Memorial. Grab final photo ops at Okahu Corner before finishing at Commerce Street for farewells. Souvenir maps are provided for you to venture on your own.
Please note: A minimum of two people per booking is required.
