Full-Day Waiheke Island Food and Wine Tour

Enjoy succulent fresh oysters, award-winning olive oil and other locally-produced specialty foods, accompanied by wines from some of Waiheke Island’s top boutique vineyards.Your guide will provide an entertaining and informative commentary along the way.
Take the 9:00am Fullers ferry to Matiatia Wharf at Waiheke Island where your driver will greet you there with a welcome sign.
You will visit an award-winning olive oil mill, followed by two vineyards, each offering a range of gourmet tastes to accompany their wines. Treats may include oysters straight from Te Matuku Bay, wild honey, the famous local green herb spread and artisan cheeses.
Afterwards, enjoy a platter lunch at one of our top vineyard restaurants. After lunch you will be returned to your accommodation or to the ferry back to Auckland.
After the completion of the tour, you will be taken back to the wharf where you can catch the 3:00 ferry or choose to be dropped off in the village if you wish to say on the Island longer.
Lucky that we are only 2ppl as the group, and the guide is so nice and brought us to go the place we wanted, weather was great, wine and food were well arranged...it was really pleasant trip.

This was a great day and such knowledgeable and interesting people we meet on our trip. The group leader was fantastic and she was passionate about the island and this made it delightful. We got more than we expected and saw the must see sights. Fabulous views and food.

A fantastic Day. Tour Leader/Drive Paul was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. First stop was the Olive Oil company which was great, gained a real insight into the making of olive oil. Product was awesome and well worth the visit. Then on to 3 vine yards where we experienced a range of wines matched to food. Great day thank you. Paul thanks for the chocolates you dropped into reception. You really didn't need to but a great touch to end the day.

We had a wonderful day being escorted by our guide David. There were 5 of us Aussies and we had the bus all to ourselves as 2 others didn't turn up.... their loss and our gain was just like a private tour. All the staff at each winery and the Olive Oil establishment were very informative and friendly and took the time to spend with us and explain their processes. The Lunch platter was extraordinary, and the oyster tasting was superb. So glad we picked this tour, well worth the money. Thank you David for your hospitality, patience and expertise, you do your job very well.

It was a great way to see Waiheke Island. We were rushed just a bit at the Olive Oil tasting and would have liked to learn more more having the wines paired with the food tasting was great. Learned a lot about food with wine._br/_ I think Viator could have done a little better job with explaining the Ferry system and what ticket you need for what.

Fantastic in every aspect. Guide Niki was great and the wineries were excellent .the lunch was to die for!! Would and have recommend this tour to friends and family. Would definitely do it again.
