On this vineyard tour and tasting with a twist, try boutique wine, craft beer and local oysters. Taking place on the picturesque Waiheke Island, just 35 minutes from downtown Auckland, break away from the city for a day, and check out the magic of a tropical island in the Hauraki Gulf. While  making beer and wine is taken very seriously, we're pretty down to earth around here. Picture a giant beer garden with plenty of outdoor seating and giant beanbags - here you get to chill among the vines and sample the hand crafted beer and wines.

A vineyard and craft brewery tasting experience all in one. Sit back and enjoy as your hosts perform an informative yet humorous tasting that promises not to intimidate. You will be given a friendly and welcoming introduction to the unique family owned venue.

First up you will be greeted with a taste of Wild Estate wine from the boutique vineyard, of which extremely limited wines are sold exclusively.

Next up you’ll try the brewery side as well. Taste two of the most popular craft beers, brewed out back and served tank to tap. Your tasting includes local seafood with a Te Matuku Oyster - be prepared for a food and beer match with a twist!

Lastly taste the world famous (on Waiheke) ginger beer. It's all natural and the best 'lil ginger in town!

Hosted by a talented comedian/cellar door manager, you get a friendly and informal tasting experience that promises to be interesting, yet not too over-technical for the casual wine and beer enthusiasts.
