Half-Day Vineyards and Bush Walk on Waiheke Island

This spectacular walk takes you from vineyard to vineyard in some of the prettiest scenery on Waiheke Island – walking from Poderi Crisci, a famous Italian vineyard restaurant in Awaawaroa Valley, to Passage Rock Wines and back through lush bush tracks and overlooking beautiful valley, vineyard and sea views.

Lunch can be purchased at Passage Rock Wines.

This beautiful 4-hour walk starts and finishes at the Poderi Crisci Vineyard at 10am, however, pick up is available 30 minutes beforehand in Oneroa, if required.

Get out to the far end of Waiheke Island - with big skies, big views, and fresh air!  The walk begins with views over the Poderi Crisci vineyard and continues to a lookout point over the beautiful Awaawaroa valley.  

Wander through bush to Te Matuku Bay, the Eco village, Te Matuku Oyster Farm and marine reserve. Enjoy spectacular views, lush bush and old mining sites as you walk. Then visit award winning Passage Rock Vineyard to enjoy a coffee and a bite, or sample their amazing wines before walking back to Poderi Crisci.
