It is a lot to do in a day. Not much time at Pont du Gard at end but at least we got to see it. I expected a true cellar experience for wine tasting but it was in a modern commercial building tasting room. In Orange we had plenty of time in the theatre maybe too much.We left on time, ended on time and did get to all the locations. I would do it differently next time. It really is not as much of a tour as it is transportation to 3 different locations.

Fabulous day. Cedric our guide was amazing. So knowledgeable about the area. The tour was small and personal. Chateaneuf du Pape was the highlight of the day. Such a beautiful place. Wine tour was so worth the trip. Pont du Gard was breathtaking. I would recommend this tour.

Wonderful tour with Alex. He walked to Pont du Gard with us, and talked to us - didn't just drop us off like a lot of guides do. Orange was amazing. Chateauneuf du Pape was fun and educational, and the view were amazing. Really enjoyed this half day tour.

The two Roman sites we visited were most impressive and rewarding. However, the so called winery tour was, to put it mildly, a bit of a farce. We were taken to a wine museum, and while this provided some interesting information about the growers and generic information about viticulture, the wine tasting, if you could describe it as such, consisted of tastings wines from one grower and in total the museum only held wine collections from 3 out of the 300 growers in the Chateauneuf du Pape area. Surely this could only be described as misleading. Also, the guide was, I thought, quite pretentious and should consider a change of occupations.

Although only a half day, this tour on our first day of a two-week holiday in Provence was a perfect introduction to the region. Mark was a great tour guide! The tour included a visit and tasting at a fascinating wine museum in Chateauneuf du Pape, a visit to the Roman Theater in Orange we were there for 30 minutes of rehearsal of Madame Butterfly! and ended with a visit to the incomparable Pont du Gard. A perfect introduction to Provence!

The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and being a local girl she clearly knew a lot of the history from growing up in the region.
