On your tour from Avignon, you will visit Gordes, the village of limestone, and Roussillon, the charming ochre village, surrounded by cliffs. Make a stop at Senanque Abbey and If you visit between mid-June and mid-August you will see the surrounding brightly colored lavender fields in full bloom. Make sure you have your camera with you for some wonderful photo opportunities! Cross Pont Julien, a bridge forming part of the Via Domitia, which was built in Roman times to connect Italy with Spain and enjoy the view from the village of Lacoste at the Marque de Sade’s castle.
Tour destinations were mostly quite good but had little time at some of them. May be better to drop 1 or 2 to allow a less rushed experience. Also recommend providing a detailed Itinerary so people can decide if this tour is appropriate for them and their family. Guide was quite nice.
