On this private 9.5-hour tour, see the lavender fields of Valensole, some of the most beautiful in the South of France, and explore the hilltop village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, where you can stroll around its narrow streets. In the afternoon, go for a dip in the Lake of Sainte-Croix, and admire the landscapes of the Gorges du Verdon.

After hotel pickup in the morning, your full-day private tour begins as you hop aboard your 7- or  9-seat minivan for the drive from Avignon to your first destination, the plateau of Valensole, where you can see one of the largest lavender fields in France. Enjoy free time to stroll around the fields of your choice for about 1.5 hours. There are some snack bars among the surroundings, if you'd like a bite (own expense).

Then travel along a scenic road, and stop in one of the designated 'most beautiful villages in France,' Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, where you'll find a selection of restaurants and bars to choose from for lunch (own expense). Afterward, you may explore the village independently, if you wish, with a stroll along its narrow streets, admiring the surrounding landscape (this is about a 1.5-hour stop).

Your last destination is the Lake of Sainte-Croix (Lac de Sainte-Croix), where you can take a swim, walk along the lake shore, or even rent a kayak, if you wish (own expense). Spend about 1.5 hours here before returning to Avignon for drop-off.
