This is a very intensive tour that depends on a number of areas - airline, hotel, tour company - to go well or it turns into an endurance contest. In our case the first tour iwasat 3:15, but you couldn't check-in at the hotel until 3! Added to the stress, our room was at the very end of the hotel complex, So especially for older guests we are 73, trying to get an early room assigned, running to the faraway room, and then back to the reception area was a real hustle. The tour was very good, but the hassle on arrival together with the heat and long day - back to the hotel about 10:30 if you do the barbecue- took it's toll, especially since we were supposed to meet the next morning at 5:15 for the second tour. That tight timeframe was shortened more because we had trouble with the A/C when we returned to the room that got us to bed after midnight. We were exhausted and decided to skip the second day tour. A shout out for the star talk after rhe barbecue the sky was magnificent and the talk, spectacular!

We only had a short time to try to capture everything, which in the end was positive and negative, It feels like we did most of the main events offered by the tour companies, which were breathtaking, I think realistically we should have only done the sunset, with the BBQ which was excellent. but we did the sunrise also, which was a very early morning. everything was breathtaking, but we only spent about 5 hrs in our hotel room, so instead of the most expensive, we should have chosen the cheapest. the rooms were lovely, but we couldn't appreciate it.

Wasted time with the flies at sunset, late getting back next day and we almost missed our flight...were they concerned??? Hell no.

Fantastic experience! Although it was a quick trip, everything was smooth as could be. Both the tour of Uluru and Kata Tjuta were amazing experiences. Uluru was majestic and one of the greatest things I have ever witnessed. It was a truly magical place for me as it was something I have always wanted to see since I was a small boy. The guides were very knowledgeable and were quick to answer any questions. The room accommodation was ok and had the basics you'd need for an overnight stay. The staff everywhere at the hotel were also very friendly and helpful, which to me also aided the experience that much more. I had a fantastic time and only wished my vacation was longer so I could have spent more time out there. Highly recommend it if you can find some time.

Wow - we saw everything and more we could possibly wish for on this whirlwind trip, which was perfectly organised with uber friendly staff. Thank you to the whole team!

Great organization and informed guides! Be prepared for the weather and carry water (it was 106F when we walked the 2.5km return trip to Kata Tjuta waterhole). The sunset watching party was great with snacks and wine/soft drinks provided. There are free shuttles to/from the airport from the resort throughout the day - you are not constrained to the AAT shuttle bus. That will help in flight planning.

The place is beautiful and it is very worthly to visit it. My regrets is That our guide had à terrible accent and was difficult to understand what hé was saying. Thé hôtel accommodation désert gardens was very average and very expressive. Futhermore during our close to 4 weeks in australia it is thé only place where we had à very bad service both hôtel or restaurant.

Everyone we dealt with was very professional and friendly and did their best. No complaints with hotel, either.

The sunset and sunrise tour was awesome. Definitely worth doing. The guide we had was very enthusiastic and interesting. He was willing to answer questions and loved the area and it's history. The Pioneer Outback Lodge was clean, but the food there was not good. The buffet was overpriced and offered little selection. Would definitely recommend the tour, but a different hotel.

Excellent all around - the hotel, the tour bus, the way we were looked after and seeing Uluru and the Olgas at both sunset and sunrise. It was a brilliant experience.

Viator and the tour itself were fine, but I was not thrilled by the destination overall. It's an overhyped tourist destination. One resort company owns everything at Ayers Rock, making costs way too high.
