Uluru Small Group Tour including Sunset

Ayers Rock, Australia

Experience the many moods of Uluru at sunset with an uninterrupted view. Admire the immensity of Uluru as you immerse yourself in the environmental changes of this world-renowned icon at sunset.

Your friendly, professional guide will collect you from the entrance to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort.

Travel by comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. From the entrance it is only a matter of minutes before the vista of Uluru rises from the sand dunes to demonstrate its enormity and presence in this country.

As you drive around the base, your guide will take you along the Mala Walk to the impressive Kantju Gorge. Learn about the Mala People and the importance of ceremonies. Further around the base of Uluru visit Mutitjulu Waterhole, a semi-permanent watercourse nestled in the contours of Uluru. Here you will learn of the Creation stories of Liru (poisonous snake) and Kuniya (woma python). You will see rock art of the ancients and learn how Uluru was, and still is, a significant location for teaching young Aboriginal people.

You will then travel to Talinguru Nyakunytjaku dune viewing area where you will observe the sun set over Uluru from a different perspective and away from the crowds. Relish in the tranquility and appreciate the expanse of this beautiful desert region as night falls. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and light refreshments before returning to your hotel at Ayers Rock Resort.

Loved the fact it was a small group. Our guide Francesca was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Excellent value for money!

We really enjoyed Giorgia's guide. She's friendly and knowledgeable. The other guide wasn't great for example, she only talks to the other couple in the group, it's what it is considering she just started her job. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't perfect and we couldn't see the color change of Uluru, but we enjoyed the walking around Uluru and her myth lecture.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Guide was excellent, loved the storytelling! The tour was relaxed and friendly, and finished with a snack and drink which was delicious. We certainly recommend this experience.

it was a disappointing trip ,guide was nice but not properly trained ,at sunset the site she picked was not the right one ,we did not see any change in the rock color ,that was the main reason for SUNSET trip ,i will not recommend your comoany for this particular trip ,however Tasmania island boat trip was fabulous.

It was a great small group tour. I just wish I would have known the total amount of walking ahead of time. With bad knees, I struggled a little with the amount of walking. Our guide "warmed up" along the way. He was very knowledgeable, shared Aboriginal stories, and provided some nice nibbles and drinks at sunset.

Really great tour - a must for getting close up to the rock. Alex our guide was brilliant - very knowledgeable, and a keen interest in her subject; she even carried extra water which was needed due to the heat, even though we had brought our own water, and shared her fly repellent too! Wear a really sturdy hat,, as it was windy around the rock, and a fly net would be useful. The Dakka and sparkling wine were really welcome after walking in the heat. Excellent trip, thoroughtly recommended.

It is a big disappointment !!! Everyone who booking " Sunset Uluru " want to see Ayers Rock Sunset show of mother nature with two actors : Ayers Rock and Sun. Only company don't want this. Thousand people are on West platform to see colors changed of Rock. Only our group was on a East platform

This was such and interesting trip with lots of history and information given by the guide. Again disappointed with colour of the rock at sunset as the sun set in the opposite direction to where we were standing, It is portrayed to be much more vivid. Minor detail however, excellent and preferred small group tour. Thanks

Great guide even though she had an American accent. IT was well worth it to get that personalized information and great dream time stories
