Go retro in Bali on a beach-and-bar-hopping tour in a classic 1980 VW Kombi bus. You’ll stop at Bali’s best beaches and seaside resorts in search of the next great cocktail (drinks are at your own expense). Along the way, your guide stops at a 17th-century fertility temple off the tourist track. This full-day adventure is limited to five people for a small-group experience.

After pickup from select hotels, meet your driver, guide and small group as you hop aboard a 1980 VW Kombi equipped with Wi-Fi and a minibar.

Your full-day Bali adventure begins with a visit to the club house at remote Batu Belig Beach for some stellar tropical drinks. Your guide can recommend specialties such as the Delinger (a blend of vodka, strawberries and ginger sorbet) or a dish from the menu featuring French-Balinese cuisine.
Back aboard the VW bus, you’re driven through nearby beach villages as you head toward the 17th-century temple of Pura Batu Ngaus. Learn how the Balinese come here to seek medicine or fertility blessings from the mangku, or priest, and leave offerings through a blowhole in the rock that connects to the ocean via an underwater cave.

En route, you’ll pass scenes of government-protected rice terraces and catch glimpses of the sea and the far-off cliffs of Uluwatu — keep your camera at the ready for those classic Bali shots.
For more stunning views, laze around a boutique art hotel with a restaurant and bar set on a large lawn overlooking the ocean. You can order tapas as you sip one of three sangria varieties (or try all three!) in the late afternoon sun.
Leave the northern beaches behind and head south, passing small streets crammed with antiques and collectibles. Cross over to a fishing village that is home to Bali's largest seafood market. Stop at one of Bali’s best beach clubs to watch a sunset in Jimbaran Bay and try a vanilla-flavored margarita, foxtrot gimlet or frozen apple martini, among other tasty concoctions.
Finish your Bali tour with a nightcap at the iconic Ku De Ta bar at Seminyak Beach, a long-standing hot spot that’s considered to be one of the best beach clubs in Southeast Asia. An espresso martini may be the perfect drink for revving you up for a night out on the town after your tour, which ends here.

This was a very needed tour during my stay in Bali. The beaches and bar we visited on this tour were absolutely beautiful. I think our first stop was probably the best one which was located in La Brisa Bali. The view and food here was just to die for. I had the best crème brulee here and I am a big foodie so for me to say that is big. The tour guide was very informative and attentive during this tour.

We didnt go to Jimbaran due to traffic, the busses are nice, but given the hefty price tag you would expect the mini bar to be included - its not - I had to find Rp400 000 cash - the places they took us to was nice, but the 1 bus upon departure didnt have aircon and it was crazy hot, our friends got out of the bus

Great concept but spent way too much driving and hardly any time enjoying the beautiful sights of Bali. The few places visited were beautiful but expected more for a 9 hour tour. Drivers were helpful and very friendly. Tour would be better skipping Jimbaran (1.5 hrs one way) and staying in one area.

Thought the tour went a bit too long especially at the end when we sat in the car for quite some time to get to Jimbaran Bay for the last cocktail then had to head all the way back to Seminyak, which we had passed and with Bali traffic, for an 8 hour trip you are sitting in the car for 4 hours, not much time to relax over a cocktail a friend recommended the tour to do so I could advise her whether to do it but I could not recommend it, the younger couple with us thought the same as we did , it would be good if the places were closer together, would not call it a bar hopping trip when we only went to three places, would I recommend NO

We weren and #39;tvtaken to any bars, only some expensive restaurants where we are expected to order expensive drinks. most of the day was spent driving through very dense traffic. It was the opposite if fun. In fact, they don and #39;t even drop you off where they pick you up. It was horrible. Do not buy this

This was a really fun trip. So long as you enjoy boozing (the majority of the day is spent doing this in some very cool places!) you and #39;ll have a fab time. The temple you visit is magical too. Be sure to blast out some tunes in the Combi and get stuck into the drinks fridge :-)

This tour was definitely one of the highlights of this trip to Bali. The venues chosen were places we had not visited previously, the driver and guide were excellent hosts and the Kombi was the ideal vehicle! The highlight of the tour was the visit to the temple, particularly as we needed a gate keeper to let us in and lock up behind us! We have recommended this trip to others and will continue to do so.

We had an excellent time on the tour. The guys were very friendly and very informative, I have been to Bali many times but got the opportunity to learn more about the culture and religion. The Kombi broke down! The tour guide and driver were excellent, both very friendly and welcoming however the night was ruined when we had to make a 30 minute detour to switch cars. This was after we spent an hour crawling along in traffic with other cars swerving around us and overtaking us, the kombi just had no power. At some points I was scared we would roll back down the hill we just climbed! They had to turn off all the beautiful inside lights and music just so the kombi could keep on running._br/_ However the places we visited were amazing, particularly the sunset at the 4 seasons, absolutely beautiful. It is just a pity that the Kombi broke down.

We were a group of 4 over 60's and had a lovely day visiting the beaches around Bali and enjoying a few different resort venues for drinks. Not being the partying type, we probably didn't have as much fun as a group of young people would. The idea is great and the Kombi itself it fantastic. Very well maintained, clean and well equipped.
