Bored with the beaches in Bali? Then grab some oars and go on an exhilarating white-water rafting adventure! Be challenged by Class II and III rapids as you traverse the Ayung River and paddle through the dense tropical rainforest and deep jungle valleys. After the thrills, relax as you float under cascading waterfalls and see Hindu shrines and various birds, if you’re lucky, you may even see monkeys in the trees! At the end of your exhilarating 2-hour trip, wind down with lunch at the river café followed by a hot shower.
Winding its way through Bali’s dense rainforest, the Ayung River provides endless thrills the moment you push off from the riverbank. This fun day out is suitable for all fitness levels, and no experience is required.
Start your adventure with a safety briefing from your rafting guide, where you’ll receive your lifejacket and helmet. Then, feel your excitement build and you walk down the jungle path towards the river. After a few more quick safety checks by your guide, you’ll be ready to hop in and start paddling!
Hold on tight and enjoy the rush of adrenaline as your raft twists and turns through the foaming Class II and III rapids. Your guide will help you paddle along the river through dense tropical rainforest and deep jungle valleys. Then, relax and marvel at the stunning scenery as you float under cascading waterfalls. See colorful Hindu shrines, lush jungle vegetation and wildlife; if you’re lucky, you might even see monkeys in the trees!
At the end of your rafting adventure, you’ll be rewarded with a hot shower and a scrumptious buffet lunch overlooking the river.
This was nice tour but I think the time of year made the rapids very tame. Still had fun. The lunch was nice.

The experience was amazing, Dena our instructor was the friendliest guy we met on our trip telling us stories of Bali's history and culture. He really made the experience better ten fold. The river is calm enough to relax on but still has the rapids to make it exciting, overall we had an amazing time.

Sooo much fun! We're in our 60's and we had a ball. If you aren't healthy enough to handle steep steps down and up, this may not be for you. You can take it easy going back up the 238 steps, but you'll feel it the next day. Again, we loved it and highly recommend it...just be aware of all the step

I enjoyed the raft ride and our guide and was not disappointed in my expectations of getting soaked. But the tour information should note the hundreds of steps -- of uneven height -- down to the river and the hundreds more back up after the trip and lunch.

I wanted to do something adventurous with my partner. I found Viator were providing a White Water Rafting tour...so I booked it. Sobek were the rafting company and the whole experience from the booking to the minute we were dropped back to hotel was fantastic.

A must have tour in Bali. Remember to bring water proof camera case otherwise you will miss a lot great photos! And get ready to get all wet in your shoes. You have to put shoes on at all time.

One suggestion: if u are staying at nusa dua, it will take around 2 hrs to reach the trip start point ...... So u would spend around 5 hrs in round journey for a 2 hr rafting. Would rather suggest to book a day tour from a local tour service that would also include this nice rafting at almost the same price with better utilization of your time as majority of other tourist attractions are also in ubud area barring the ocean :)

This was one of the longest rafting i sat on. Great tour guide with his lame jokes.safe and fun! Food was awesome! Wear slippers and bring your swimgears to get wet!

Well worth it. Guide very knowledgable and informative. Lunch was good. A bit of hike at the end of it but really enjoyable.
