We are the first and still the only company to offer a truly unique and authentic bicycle trip by combining sightseeing, coffee plantation tour and cultural insight with cycling activities through the unspoiled breathtaking countryside. This full day downhill bike tour will take you far away from the regular tourist itinerary and 'off-the-beaten-track' deep into rural Bali where you will be able to witness firsthand the daily life of the Balinese people, their local customs and rituals as well as their age-old traditions.
To start our adventure today, you will be picked up from your Bali city hotel. Firstly you will enjoy breakfast overlooking the volcano and lake Batur. Cycling adventure through the countryside will bring you up close and personal with friendly local people, their unique culture, beautiful villages, stunning landscapes and amazing ancient temples. Exploring the island of God on two wheels is by far the best way to get a fantastic and memorable experience as we will take you to discover the hidden gems of our island through some peaceful 'off-the-beaten-track' cycling routes accessible only by bike.
Wide range selection of cycling tracks are available for you. Not only rural villages and rice paddies, we offer you more: off-road paths, secret back roads, dense plantations and bamboo forest are just a few of them. Our routes are also flexible and can accommodate any level of experiences. From the easiest to the most challenging are available depend on your requests and preferences.
One of favorite and most memorable routes is when we cycle past an amazing 7.5 hectare of bamboo forest. The forest is located in Kubu Village, Bangli regency, about 30 kms north east from Ubud. While riding, you will also have opportunities to see traditional craftsmen at work inside the forest or watch local people cutting down the bamboo for various purposes.
By visiting these two famous sites, you can learn and discover more about Balinese culture. Note that we will go inside the temple (not just peeking from the outside). All entrance fees, tickets and sarong have been covered in the price.
This full day downhill bike tour will take you far away from the regular touristy itinerary and ride deep into rural Bali where you will be able to witness firsthand the daily life of the Balinese people, their local customs and rituals as well as their age-old traditions. Lunch will be served in a local Balinese restaurant. After this day full of excitement, you will be transferred back to hotel by our air-con van.
This was without a doubt one of the best things that I did with my three boys. All of the staff we dealt with were friendly, caring and happy. We had an excellent day and would recommend this for anyone who wished to get out and enjoy the countryside.

Absolutely enjoyed our cycling adventure. The guides were very professional and helped marshal traffic when cycling on the roads. They also helped tailor the trail to fit our experience and fitness. We enjoyed the ride which was mostly downhill and fairly easy for us.

Bali Hai Tours ran this trip..pick up was good from. hotel in Ubud..stops at rice terrace,coffee plantation and mount batur ..nice photo opportunity. Then main cycle..long day day but cycling really easy 95% down hill...thru villages and the real Bali. Bikes ok but a little worn. Overall worth it.

Brilliant day from start to finish, well looked after at every stage of the trip. Cycling was very easy, mainly downhill, which allowed you to focus on where you were and to enjoy the sites, sounds and smells of non-touristy parts of Bali. Loved cycling through the bamboo jungle, rice fields, even through a bustling local market, not to mention occasionally on the main roads!! We've done numerous trips in Bali all over the island and this is up there with the best of them.

The whole experience was amazing! The tour guide was really friendly and the whole trip was organized very well. For picky eaters, just a heads up, both the breakfast and lunch is Balinese cuisine. So expect having Nasi goreng for breakfast facing the amazing view, which I absolutely loved._br/_ The 2 1/2 hour bike tour passed really quick and I wish it was longer, but got to see the beauty of Ubud. _br/_ Highly recommended!!!!

This tour was a great way to see traditional Bali rural life. The bike ride only went for 2.5 hrs which was enough for us as we did most of it in a Bali downpour. Try and pick a sunny day as we had no view of Mt Batur volcano at breakfast which was at 11:30 so it might be a good idea to eat somethIng beforehand. The temple we visited was lovely and the local villagers very welcoming. Highlights were riding through bamboo plantations, rice paddies and small villages.

The day out was great!_br/_ We did more than just bike riding, the trip to the coffee place was an added bonus and the brunch and lunch were great too._br/_ The only thing we would have wanted different to the whole day was our driver did not speak much English, would have been great to have commentary as we drove past places etc._br/_ Besides that this day, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas of Bali,was a very nice change and it was great value for money._br/_ We would highly recommend this trip

I had a great time riding through different villages, forests and small hills. 90 of the route is downhill, you pretty much don't cycle. After all other tours in Bali this was the best, most interresting, most fun. Before cycling you have a lunch with a terrific view on hills.

A very enjoyable trip taking you away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta and into the hills giving you an insight into Bali life in the villages. Waving and saying hello to the children was a highlight. It was an easy downhill ride, that you don't need to be fit to be able to do. The guides were very informative and allowed us to stop and make the most of the photo opportunities. Lunch was delicious !!! _br/_ One of the best tours I have done in Bali.

Great tour, breakfast at Kintamani overlooking volcano and Mt Agung was not great, view spectacular . Guide Nyoman, and Kutut were great,I had a small fall and they both were there in seconds with first aid kit and we were on our way again in minutes. Nearly all back roads and tracks ,and adults and kids yelling hello and high fiving everyone. A long time on the bike, and being 66 years old and not ridden a push bike for years I found the seat narrow and hard, maybe a gel ,wider seat for some of us tender bums and an adjustable set of handlebars to ease the sore backs. Otherwise , it was one of the best tours I have done in my 6 trips to bali . Thanks guys.
