Enjoy a private, home-cooked meal in a local Bangkok home. Meet Por and Aoe, a lovely, young couple with a passion for food, travel, and entertaining. Join the couple for a traditional lunch at their modern townhouse for a casual midday meal. Aoe and Por prepare classic central Thai cuisine, including coconut milk curries, stir-fries and fresh seasonal vegetables.

Meet your hosts, Aoe and Por, at their modern townhouse in Bangkok's Lad Prao District. You will be warmly welcomed into their home for a private, authentic meal and conversation. Like so many Thais, Aoe’s inspiration for cooking came at an early age when he spent time in the kitchen helping his mother prepare the family meals. As a young man studying in New York, Aoe worked at a popular Thai restaurant where he refined his cooking and presentation skills. He loved practicing his English with diners, especially by sharing his childhood memories in Thailand.

Your meal will begin with a refreshing welcome drink of fresh juice. Then, you'll enjoy Aoe and Por's culinary creations, perhaps their fresh winged bean salad (shallots, garlic, chili, palm sugar, and tamarind juice), stirred fried noodle with water mimosa (shrimp paste, chili, shallots, and garlic) and the well-known Thai green curry with chicken (winter melon, coconut milk, chili paste, kaffir lime leaf and sweet basil). Enjoy eating a delicious meal with your hosts while learning about Thai culinary and cultural heritage. Leave Aoe and Por with a full stomach, new recipes, new friends, and unforgettable memories from an amazing experience.
