The show runs twice daily, contains a variety of glitter and glamour, as well as plenty of acting and other artistic performances.

The non-smoking theater is located at the basement of the Asia Hotel in Asiatique and can accommodate a maximum of 350 visitors. Your cabaret experience also includes round-trip transfer from and to your hotel, and a complimentary soft drink during the performance.

Unfortunately we were unable to experience the Calypso Cabaret due to an unforeseen electrical outage at the theatre, which we only became aware of after a 90 minute bus ride to the location. The tour guide was active in allowing us to remain in the area for dinner at least and also tried to organise an alternate show the following evening. Unfortunately this resulted in something even more disappointing than the previous night, as we drove around for almost 2 hours to a total of 3 locations as the second cabaret show Mambo - do not go there!! had apparently 'changed locations' multiple times and the driver had not been advised of this. Eventually we arrived, in time to see the very last finale performance, which was far from entertaining and quite blatantly very poor quality, in a very dirty and almost frightening theatre. As we never saw Calypso, I can only advise that you confirm the show will proceed ahead of time, and DO NOT GO TO MAMBO!
