Experience the ultimate relaxation with a 60 minute flotation experience in a top-of-the-line dream-pods. Along with sensory deprivation from all sound and light inside the tank, the floater enjoys a near total weightlessness in water infused with over 1300 pounds (600 kg) of highly beneficial Epsom salts. Floating can best be described as an anti-gravity trip to inner and outer space.
As the maddening rush and noise of the daily world fades away, a variety of physical and psychological benefits are within reach to those with an open mind. With every visit guests enjoy complimentary parking, toiletries, private bath, relaxation area, massage chair, and a personal guide to orient them before and after the float.
The staff are highly trained to guide you from the moment youwalk through the door, to the moment you leave. Staff members themselves are avid float enthusiasts who have personally experienced the many physical and psychological benefits derived from floating, and are eager to share that knowledge to both first time floaters, and fellow enthusiasts.
The relaxation experience begins with a personalized 10-15 minute orientation geared toward the floaters level of experience, no question will go answered and any anxiety is calmed before you first step foot into the Dream-pod room. You will be led to you private relaxation area and shown all the amenities available to you including massage chair, neck massage, toiletries, teas and coffee, and even snacks. Only after you are ready, will you then receive a step by step walk through of what to expect before, during, and after your float.
After showering, the 60 minute session begins with the first 10 minute of soothing Celtic music to further the relaxation process. You will be provided with earplugs to ensure a level of silence in the pod, and you will be shown how to turn the lights inside the tank on and off. Generally the first 15-20 minutes of a first-time float session are spent acclimating yourself to the physical boundary of the pod, and to the experience of letting go of control and enjoying the feeling of weightlessness.
Depending on the visitor's open-mindedness and readiness, users report a multitude of physical, physiological, and even spiritual benefits for their sessions. At the very least, the vast majority of all floaters report a feeling of total relaxation comparable to an intense yoga or meditation session, and even report a feeling of restfulness that comes after many hours of sleep. At the conclusion of your session, the meditative Celtic music will permeate the tank for the final 5 minutes, after which the session concludes. After showering to remove any traces of salt, you will have full use of the private relaxation area and are welcome to stay as long as you would like.
Loved this experience glad that I booked two sessions. The address is a bit out of the way but you can get there by taxi. This is an experience purely for the self and relaxing. I recommend this tour option
