Bangkok Tuk Tuk Small Group Adventure Tour
Bangkok, Thailand
Travel as the locals do, by Tuk Tuk! Visit some of Bangkok's most famous sights: Phra Sumeru Fortress, the bustling Amulet Market, Wat Pho and its Reclining Buddha, Thieves Market and the colorful flower market of Dheves on this fun and exciting Bangkok tour.
Make your way to the lobby of the Nouvo City Hotel to meet your guide. You'll travel together by taxi or minivan to the starting point of this Bangkok Tuk Tuk tour.
Board your motorized rickshaw commonly known as Tuk Tuk with your local guide from Phra Arthit Road. Travel past Thammasart University into Phra Chan Road to the Amulet Market, where various religious amulets, charms and traditional medicines are available. Your informative guide will explain the significance that these items play in the Thai culture.
Continue by Tuk Tuk to your next stop, Wat Pho temple, the oldest temple in Bangkok. Explore the Wat Pho temple complex with your guide before climbing back onboard your Tuk Tuk.
Travel by Tuk Tuk to Phahurat Market, the Phahurat Market is in the heart of Bangkok's little India where all kinds of fabrics, cloths, ornaments and accessories are sold along with stalls selling delicious Indian snacks. You'll continue to Woeng Nakorn Kasem in the Klong Thom quarter, also known as the "thieves market". It is a second hand market for Thai and Chinese antiques where you'll will find an array of goods for sale from porcelain to furniture.
Your next stop is Wat Saket. Wat Saket sits at the bottom of an artificial hill, often referred to as the Golden Mount and dates back to the Ayuthaya era, prior to Bangkok becoming the capital of the Siamese kingdom. The temple was used for cremation ceremonies.
Your tour concludes at Wat Saket but not before you climb up the 318 steps to the top of the Golden Mount where you'll have amazing 360 degree views of the surrounding old Rattankosin Island.
Your guide can assist you in getting a taxi back to your hotel if needed.

All was organised very efficiently by Viator and the local agent. Communication was great and it was very clear where I had to be and when. Pe-pae was a star. Very friendly, informative and organised. Very professional at all times. This tour was packed with great sights and experiences. I did more on this half-day tour than on a lot of 1 day tours. Definitely worth it. Please ensure that you dress appropriately well covered for the reclining buddha, as a sign of respect and also to ensure you can get in. This tour is a must!

Guide was nice. Tour was overpriced. Basically, they picked a few temples and markets and drove you around in a small area. This tour is worth at most $25. I would not recommend.

Pat was brilliant. Such a lovely person and a great guide. Really enjoyed.

This was a good way to see the sights but I think they could have added the royal palace in the tour. Our tour guide 'a' was very knowledgeable.

Early and latter part of tour, which was more historical, context stuff more interesting than some of the walks through the Indian market particularly walk ended with a stroll around a discount clothing store. No problem with historical issue but unlike the flower/fruit and veg market that was vibrant and interesting, Indian market very much less so. Does however show little gems of Thai history and beauty in a part of 16 million strong throng of commerce and activity.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The novelty of the tuk tuk was great and we did things we definitely would not have done on our own! Being with our tour guide Pam meant we got a lot more information about everything and she answered any questions we had! Would definitely recommend this tour!!

My family went on the Bangkok Tuk Tuk group adventure tour with guide Bo. Bo was personable, knowledgeable and passionate about his job. We meet a lovely couple on their honeymoon from Florida. We saw more of Bangkok on our tour than we imagined, and learned so much about the beautiful city. I would highly recommend to anyone!

We would highly recommend this tour. Pat was a wonderful tour guide. This was our second trip to Thailand and Bangkok but we learned so much more on this 1/2 day adventure. We have already recommended the tour to others and hope that you will enjoy it too.

We really enjoyed this adventure. Riding on the tuk tuk was great fun. Our guide was a very pleasant and patient lady with a great deal of knowledge about the places we visited. Would thoroughly recommend this tour.

The guide was inforrmative, friendly and helpful and the itinerary was varied an interesting. My only dissapointment was that she gave no history or information about the amulet market and we went thoruogh it in about 10 minutes with no time to brouse or shop. If the amulet market is high on your list of things to see, as it was for me, I think there are probably better option or better to do it on your own.

We had a great tour, it was a perfect way to get a feel for the city on our first day and know where we wanted to go back to for more. The tuk tuk was very fun to ride in and our tour guide was very knowledgable and spoke great English. We would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was more of religious tour, but I like the tour guide. she was very friendly. We had fun through the markets.

Great tour! We were late due to our plane, but found that we were still able to go and experience Bangkok as the tour guide was nice enough to wait for us. Thanks Pam, a great tour guide!

Great way to see the authentic side of Bangkok. Visited a few markets, temples, had opportunities to try street food. This is a budget friendly tour that I highly recommend.
Review by: Jo-Ann D, January 2016
Charming tour guide who gave some good general knowledge of the places visited. We met at a hotel close to the areas we were touring so never very long on the Tuk Tuk. It was neat to go to the amulet market, flower market, WatPho reclining budha. It was early so not at all crowded which was a bonus.Golden Temple had a pretty good view._br/_ Only 4 of us on the tour which was a bonus. Places were interesting but I didn't find it good value at 50 Cdn.

not as enjoyable as floating markets rushed through the market and lots trying to get across busy roads Gof the tour guide was fun
Review by: chris, October 2015
This tour was loads of fun. Our guide was a delight, very open about Thai culture and Buddist traditions and answered our questions with knowledge and humour. We zoomed around the streets and weaved through traffic in expertly driven tuk tuks. We saw some lovely diverse areas and our guide was flexible enough to accommodate our request to stop for coffee and cake during the tour.

Gof gave us an amazing and interesting day. Had 4 teenagers with us who loved the Tuk Tuks. Went to temples, markets etc and had the lovely Gof guiding us through it all. Ive been to Bangkok 3 times now and I saw things on this tour I have never seen before, so was really interesting for me. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this tour. It's very informative and you get to see and experience a variety of city life in Bangkok. Our guide was fantastic!
Review by: Anthony H, June 2015
Good tour for a morning. Dragged on a bit - if you've seen one flower/chinese market, you've seen them all. Much more interesting to focus on the local unique locations.
Review by: Johnny F, April 2015
This was a very well organized tour, they went out of their way to make sure we were happy and enjoying the tour. They met all of our expectations and more and their compassion for providing this service came through in the way they conducted the tour. The explanations on what we were seeing was great, the history lessons were enjoyable, the markets offered a lot on Thai life. I would highly recommend this tour and company.

My daughter adult and myself got ourselves to the hotel where the tour starts, and were met by PUM. She was delightful, very informative, knowledgable, warm and friendly. It turned out we were the only ones there for the tour, so we got virtually, a private tour, which was sensational.

We loved this trip. Our guide (Gof) was excellent--very informative and knowledgeable.
