Make your own way to the Calypso Cabaret Theatre, located at the Asiatique The Riverfront entertainment complex. Depending on the option chosen, arrive at either 8pm or 9.30pm in time for the 8.15pm or 9.45pm show, or kick off your evening with a delicious dinner and cultural dance performance before the main event begins.
Then, settle into your seats for the 1.5-hour show and prepare to be entertained by the spectacular dancers, singers, and performers, dressed to the nines in dazzling costumes and towering heels. Journey through Asia as you enjoy Japanese geisha dancing, listen to Korean Pop, and are serenaded with Chinese love songs, then sing along to hits by icons like Beyonce, Elvis, and Lady Gaga.
Before or after the show, take time to explore the Asiatique The River Front entertainment complex, howe to over 1,500 shops, restaurants, and bars.
Turned out it was not our cup of tea, at first interesting but after all looks the same, they were nighter great dancers nor great performers, difficult to guess who is a man or woman though.

The show itself I would rate as average. They seem to make up for grace in performing to the high decibel singing. At some point it started to rankle in the ears. However, I give credit to the seemingly enthusiastic performers. The lady-boys seem to be game all the way. I would recommend watching it for a different experience. The venue of the show, the Asiatique Mall is a nice place to visit and wait for curtain call. Many interesting shops with comparatively reasonable prices. There were no hard-sell vendors. The place is very clean, too.

It wasn't as good as I thought it would be from the reviews. Far from it actually. I found it very amateurish and it was just a drag show full of miming lady boys and others. It was all a bit freaky and lacked any personaliry and soul. I wouldn't watch it again.

Enjoyable evening. Show was fun and light hearted. Similar to drag shows back in the USA, so if you're not fond of musicals and lip syncing, then this is not going to be your thing, but for a fun evening of entertainment in a cool market area, go for it! I'd recommend skipping the dinner option, there's so much to eat right around the theater that it seems like a waste to eat there.

It was a great show. I really enjoyed the experience... until the end of the show when they indicated with a big sign free photos with the ladyboys. So we went naively went to take photos. Then the ladyboys hassled us for a tip, it grabbed my arm quite aggressively trying to force me to give them a tip. I only had 1000 baht sorry but I aint tipping you that much. Ran off. I could hear them yelling behind me. Be careful.

We attended this show on a Thursday night late show and really enjoyed it. First, the show venue is quite nice and set up in cabaret style. The performers were all very good tho the lip-synching left a bit to be desired and some were over the top fantastic. They had a great mix of old American classics, Korean, Japanese and Chinese songs. The drag performers were strongly supported by a large cast and we really enjoyed all the numbers. After the show there is a chance to take pictures and talk to the performers tips allowed but not required and we got some great pics to share back home. Some technical notes--the event is at a large shopping venue so there is plenty of places to eat before the show and many are still open after the late show. We did shop around and ride the Ferris Wheel as well while there--wish we had planned more time before the show to enjoy the area. Definitely recommend!

Really good show with musical performances from Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and others. Colourful and entertaining with lots of humour for all ages. Some of the performances have amazing bodies that could match any top model. _br/_ We took the pre-dinner option. Food was good but a little spicy. Also, beverages other than coffee and tea need to be paid separately. _br/_ One observation is that at the end you are invited to take FREE pictures with the performers. However, bear in mind that you need to tip 100 bahts if you wish to do so. Not that much money but just be warned to have some cash with you.

Asiatique waterfront is a fun and lively place to visit!! So many colors and lights and restaurants. The show was okay. Not great but entertaining and for the price. I would totally recommend this tour. Besides you get to see the surrounding area which is totally cool!

We started with dinner and a cultural preshow which was lovely followed by the Calypso Cabaret which I could only compare to a cross between the follies, a comedy, and drag show. Ultimately, it was so fun, I would recommend this for anyone 21 and up - truly a lovely experience.

Brilliant! The choreography was amazing. The performers were very talented and kept the whole audience entertained. The costumes were bright and colour. The acts were that good that you forgot they were miming. Highly recommend.
