This Chinatown food walking tour serves up six-seven tastings of delectable Thai-Chinese fusion dishes and drinks! Led by a knowledgeable guide we go behind the scenes to places that locals love and most visitors never find, stopping at alleyways, street stalls and small restaurants. We taste a variety of savory and sweet dishes. This walking tour is limited to 10 people and provides a personalized experience.
Meet your guide at Hua Lamphong MRT station exit1, 5:00 pm. Guide will show you that he or she is your guide and start out on foot through one of the oldest Chinese community of Bangkok. This area serves up delectable tasty bites and you’ll stop at approximately 4-5 venues for 8 tastings, so be sure to arrive hungry! With a small group you’ll gain intimate knowledge of the neighborhood’s history, culture and cuisine from your experienced guide.
From the MRT station, we stroll through the temple of gold Buddha. Visit a nearby street opposite the temple where you can sip Thai iced coconut noodle with a piece of jackfruit inside it. We then head to nearby lane ways to sample numerous traditional local dishes; traditional medicinal Chinese drinks, Chinese black paper noodle soup, Thai- Chinese curry rice, Chinese dessert,Chines spring roll,pork satay and Fruit smoothie.
Savor these regional flavors through the tour as we head back to our starting point with a new experience from this intriguing and fascinating area.
An interesting tour of Chinatown with an informative guide. One downside is that the food is rather more than a taster and the tour is a bit short and so you need a big appetite. The tour could be improved by smaller samples spaced out a bit.

My tour guide for the evening, Chris, was extremely sincere and took my utmost care throughout the walking tour. He was well-behaved and tried his best to give me as much information as possible along with the foods despite not being very fluent in English. I would recommend the tour to groups. I was looking forward to meet other food lovers in the tour but sadly I was the only one in the tour :
